I'm In Love With A Boy Named Frank

After dinner Mikey went down to Gerard's room.

"Gerard, I need to talk to you. Please come out."

"NO!"

"GERARD! You can't stay in your room for the next 3 weeks, avoiding food, you'll DIE!!"

"I won't die, Mikey.I just won't eat!"

Mikey looked at Gerard, who looked frail. Suddenly a searing pain ripped through Gerard's stomach. He wrapped his arms around it. Mikey completely forgot his anger and raced to Gerard.

"Gee? Gerard? What's wrong?!"

Gerard moaned.

"Gee!!"

Tears ran down Gerard's face, as the pain worsened.

"Gaagh!" Gerard gagged. Mikey saw yellow dribbling down his mouth. Gerard was coughing up bile.

Mikey laid Gerard on his bed and ran upstairs.

"Mom! There's something wrong with Gee!!"

"What?"

"He's coughing up bile!"

"Mikey, call for an ambulance, and go to him."

Mikey nodded as he dialed the three numbers; 9-1-1.

"Gerard!" Mikey gasped as he took a look at his brother. Bile was still coming out of his mouth, along with red. Blood.

"Muh...gah!"

"Gerard! Hang on! Please!!" Mikey cried. "The ambulance will be here soon! Please Gee!"

The sirens suddenly were pounding in Gerard's brain, he clutched his head in pain.

Tears streamed down Gerard's face. He looked so weak.

Mikey saw his brother's room erupt with red and blue lights. The ambulance was here. The sound of paramedics carrying a gurney down the stairs was getting louder. They soon bursted in and ran to Gerard.

A female paramedic turned to Mikey.

"Can you tell me what's wrong with your brother?"

"Uhm...he...he's on a...hu...hunger str...strike. He...he said he won't eat until..until the...k...kids at school stop making fun of him..." Mikey stammared. "He started coughing up bile, but now its blood and bile."

"Mary! I need an IV over here!" A male paramedic called. The woman, Mary tore towrds Gerard.

Mikey flinched, Gerard and neeedles never went well together.

Gerard coughed loudly and blood fell on the floor. The paramedics got Gerard's IV in as they loaded him onto the gurney. Mikey raced up benind them and his parents were crying.

Gerard! Please don't die! Mikey gasped in his head.

Mikey and his parents piled into the ambulance. Gerard had wires and a tube in his arm, supplying nutrieants. Which he had lost for the past week. Gerard was barely concious.

"Oh, Mikey. How did it get this out of hand?" His mom asked.

"I...I don't know..."

HIs dad placed a hand on Gerard's.

"Why son? Why would you feel the need to starve yourself?"

The ride to the hospital was deathly silent. All the way there, they were worrying about Gerard. He was only 17, he hada whole life ahead. He couldn't waste away now.
