Celebrity Crush

We all managed to get everything we wanted from the store. Kimi was bouncing on her feet as she carried her bags through the store. I was starving since we had been in the store for way to long. Annie was grinning as well. Shopping totally did the trick for her mood.

“So what are we eating?” I was really hungry. Annie stopped in her tracks. Her eyes bugged out and then Kimi turned around looking at me like I had lost my mind. It was then that I realized that Kimi and Annie had spent all their money in the store.

I rolled my eyes. There was more money in my mom's secret room so I could get more if I needed it.

“I can get more money for food. Let's get to my house first though and then order some food.”

Kimi grinned. She knew what I was thinking about. Annie didn't look convinced and I knew I couldn't convince her again to let me pay. I turned around and walked toward her.

“Annie this is a night of pampering so you have to let me get you some food. It's probably around five o'clock anyway. The sun has gone down now so we should get home anyway. You brought your car right?”

Suddenly this grin came on her face. She nodded, “Yes of course.”

“Okay well I will show you my jeep and then you can follow us to my house.”

She nodded her head, “Do you think I can put my bags in your jeep I wasn't expecting to buy anything?”

I was puzzled. Didn't she just say she brought her own vehicle? Why would she need to put her bags in my jeep?

“Sure?”

Kimi was puzzled as well. Annie was grinning and chuckling as she walked in front of us. Kimi let me catch up to her as we followed behind her.

“Hey guys?”

We looked expectantly at Annie.

“How about I show you my ride that way you will understand why you have to carry my bags? Then I ride to your jeep and follow you out?”

I nodded, she had perked my curiosity. We walked through the mall toward the side entrance once again. The sun had indeed set already showing that the time change was really taking effect. Annie walked off in front of us toward the parking lot. Kimi was surprisingly quiet as we walked. I guess Annie had perked her curiosity as well.

“Well this is it.”

Kimi had stopped in her tracks. I followed her gaze and saw a black and silver motorcycle. My eyes went wide. I had always wanted to ride on one before. My mom had been super protective when I was younger so the chance I had before went out the window.

“That's yours?” asked Kimi.

Annie nodded with a grin on her face, “Yeah it's mine now. No one knew but Blake had a will made up about a year ago. This was his and he knew I loved it. I had my own but my boyfriend at the time wrecked it so I was upset about it. Blake left this to me in his will.”

She walked toward the bike but then noticed that the bags in her hand were stopping her. She turned toward Kimi, “Could you carry these for me?”

Kimi nodded and grabbed them from her hands. Annie then stepped closer to the bike and lifted the seat. She pulled out a black helmet and then closed the seat back.

“My bag's under the seat with my clothes.”

Then she pulled out some white gloves from her helmet.

“It gets cold so I have to protect my hands from the wind.”

Kimi and I nodded as we watched her climb on board. She buckled the helmet on her head and the pulled the gloves on her hands. She started up the bike and then slowly backed out with her feet still on the ground to keep her steady.

“Well I will follow you guys back to your vehicle Laura.”

I could only nod. Kimi was staring longingly at the bike. I chuckled at her expression.

“Don't worry Kimi I will take you tomorrow and let you ride, I promise, you too Laura.”

I grinned widely. That sounded perfect.

Annie followed behind us on her bike keeping close to us as we made it to the house. Annie was kind of shocked by the big house, which made me think that her house wasn't all that big. Kimi ran into the house leaving her shopping bags in the jeep. I just rolled my eyes at her.

I heard her get to the door forgetting that I had to unlock the lock on the door. She was looking very embarrassed as Annie and I made our way to the door. I told Annie she could drive into the garage. She was grateful considering she didn't want the bike to get stolen.

I unlocked the door and Kimi pushed the door open walking inside. She ran straight up the stairs as if this was her own house.

“You would think this is her house,” replied Annie

I chuckled at Annie as we stepped inside and I closed the door behind us. Annie decided to bring her bags inside along with her bag of clothes.

“Come on Annie. She no doubt went to my room; I will show you the house after we get all settled.”

She smiled and nodded. We walked up the stairs and the hallway was deadly dark. I sighed; mom couldn't leave on one damn light this morning for me. I flipped on the light so Annie could see where she was going.

My bedroom door was wide open as we made our way to it. I heard commotion from my bathroom and I just shook my head, Kimi and her small bladder.

I walked in the room tossing my bags toward my bed. Kimi came out of the bathroom looking relieved.
My hands were on my hips as she looked at me embarrassed again.

“Kimi you could have just gotten my keys if you had to use the bathroom.”

“I know. I just didn't want to rush you because you hate being rushed.”

I laughed and shook my head. I turned my head and saw Annie walking into the room a little skittish.

“Come on in Annie, we won't bite. At least I won't, I can't say the same for Kimi.”

I laughed as Kimi gasped.

“That's not fair. You wouldn't get off of me that time and it was the only things I could think of to get you off.”

I gave her a look and she just huffed but left it alone. I sighed and looked around. Things were fine in the room nothing messed up or anything.

Annie sat her bag down on the floor and took the computer chair to sit on. I walked into the bathroom doing my own business. Once I was done and my hands clean I walked out to find Kimi out of her boots and sweater with her hat on my bed.

She was standing at my iHome looking around I bet trying to find my iPod.\

“Kimi my iPod's in my bag.”

She chuckled and walked toward the bed. Annie was looking around the room.

“Annie?”

She looked at me. She was nervous I could tell.

“Make yourself at home, as you can see Kimi always does. I don't get mad just don't go through my dresser that's all I ask. Kimi has her own two drawers with her clothes so that's all she can mess with.”

Annie nodded. She started trying to get comfortable. She removed her jacket and then her ankle boots. I smiled.

“Kimi are you staying up here?”

She looked to be thinking about it.

“I will come down there soon. I need to get some stuff from up here to bring downstairs.”

I nodded.

“Annie, come with me. I can show you the house and then we can find some food or order some.”

She nodded and stood to her feet. She was in some white socks now as she walked across the carpeted floor. We walked out of the room and I decided to start upstairs.

I showed her the guest room and my mom's room. I even showed her mom's secret room where I found some money for some food. We passed my bedroom again where Kimi was stacking stuff at the door for our night.

Annie and I both chuckled at her determined face. We continued downstairs where I showed her the living room, dining room, the den, and the kitchen. The den was a small room with mom's computer and a bookcase of books along the wall.

We walked into the kitchen and I found the phone book. Annie took a seat on a stool. She held her head in her hand looking around.

“Do you want something to drink Annie?”

She smiled and nodded her head. I opened the fridge and looked around, “Do you like Coke?”

She nodded and I grabbed a can of coke from the fridge. I slid the can over the counter to her. She smiled showing her thanks and then popped the top.

I opened the phone book to the take out page. I didn't really know what I was hungry for so I had no idea what to order.

“Annie, do you know what you want to eat?”

She shrugged her shoulders.

“Not really, can I look though?”

I nodded and turned the book toward her. My boots were beginning to hurt my feet so I pulled them off my feet and sat them on the floor by the counter. Annie was looking in the phone book at all the things to order.

I suddenly heard footsteps coming down the stairs. I grinned. I heard Kimi huffing as she made her way to the living room. I walked to the doors of the kitchen and saw her in the living room. She was pulling things into the room. The iHome was under her arm as she walked to the coffee table.

I watched as she plugged it up and then turned on the iPod. The music was loud, louder than she expected. She quickly turned down the volume and then found a good song. I didn't recognize the song so I guessed she had managed to plug in her mp3 player. She was nodding her head to the beat.

“What's that song Kimi?” I asked as I walked into the room. She jumped obviously not realizing I was watching her. She held her hand to her heart and gave me a glare.

“The song's Empire State of Mind with Jay Z and Alicia Keys.”

I nodded my head, I wasn't a big fan of rap but it had a good beat to it.

“Come on Kimi maybe you can help us choose something to order.”

She rolled her eyes but followed me anyway. We found Annie still looking at the book but nodding her head to the music. Kimi walked to the counter and looked at Annie. Annie finally noticed her there and turned the book to her.

Kimi started searching the pages next. Annie stood to her feet and tossed the can in the bag by the trash. The bag was for recycled items or cans that could be crushed for profit. It helped when I needed some extra cash when mom wasn't home.

“Well I wanted some Chinese food.”

I looked at Kimi to see her frowning. She loved Chinese and Mexican food to the biggest degree. I on the other hand hated Chinese and Mexican food so we hardly ever ate it at my house. I sighed and nodded her head.

“Annie, do you like Chinese food?”

She shook her head and shivered.

“No my father tried to get me to try it when I was little. I threw it up all over his shirt; I wasn't allowed to eat that anymore.”

I chuckled, “What about three meat pizza?”

She grinned and nodded.

“Kimi order your own food and I will order some Domino's.”

She grinned and we both started calling the places for food.

Kimi was sitting in a chair eating her box of food in a pair of pjs. Annie was in some lounge pants and a black tank top eating a slice of pizza while sitting in a small chair of the floor. I was sitting in between then eating my own slice of pizza.

We were watching a movie that had come on TV. It was what women want with Mel Gibson and Annie hadn't seen it. Kimi and I had watched it a while ago with her mom. It was funny the first time I watched but the funny has worn off.
Annie seemed to be enjoying the movie which was the best thing. It seemed like all her worries were gone now. I finished my slice of pizza and groaned. I was so stuffed from the slices of pizza.

Kimi laughed at me as I patted my stomach for added effect. Annie was really into the movie when it was on and not on commercial. I stood to my feet and stretched. My black Capri lounge pants came up a couple inches higher on my legs as I stretched my arms above my head.

I grabbed the empty pizza box and carried it to the kitchen. The kitchen was begging to look bad. We had a fight in here with the flour earlier right before the pizza guy and Chinese food guy came. We didn't mean to but Kimi being Kimi grabbed a handful and blew it in my face.

We all had to shower and get cleaned up before we could even eat. I had managed to clean the floor so we wouldn't walk in it but it was still all over the counter and sink.

I sat the box on the counter and then walked to the counter. I should just clean this up now. I wouldn't ask either Kimi or Annie to help anyway so I should get it done before breakfast in the morning.

I open a cabinet and find a dish towel that would be good to clean the mess. I run the towel under some water and start cleaning. After what feels like fifteen minutes I hear footsteps coming toward the kitchen.

“Laura, what the hell?”

I jump at Kimi's tone of voice. I turn my head and give her a glare. Her glare intensifies as she tosses her box of food in the trash.

“Kimi this needed to be cleaned. I won't feel like it in the morning thank you very much.”

Kimi sighs and shakes her head. She walks toward the cabinet and grabs a towel. She comes toward me and runs it under water and helps clean as well.

Annie is still in the living room watching the television. Kimi and I scrubbed the counter removing all the flour from the sink and everywhere else.

After twenty five minutes of cleaning we heard a set of footsteps. We were both done now and leaning against the sink giggling. Annie came into the room looking confused.

“What are you guys doing?”

Her eyes looked around the room picking up where the mess once was. Her lips turned into a smile, “So the movie was that boring that you decided to clean?”

Kimi started laughing and I couldn't help but chuckle.

We all decided to walk back into the living room. I could tell we were all getting tired. There was an air mattress blown up for us and two sleeping bags. All three of us couldn't sleep on the mattress.

“Let’s get to bed guys. We all seemed exhausted right now.”

Annie nodded as she rubbed her eyes. Kimi was yawning with her hand at her mouth. Kimi and Annie helped me put the mattress in the middle of the floor. Annie grabbed a sleeping bag and went toward the couch. I guessed she would sleep there using the sleeping bag as cover.

Kimi and I used the other sleeping bag as added cover for the air mattress. I flipped the overhead light out but left the TV on. I wanted to be able to be to see if I got woken up. Kimi was flopped on the mattress with her eyes closed by the time I got back to the mattress.

I grinned as I scooted down in the bed welcoming some much needed sleep.
