Celebrity Crush

I ordered my food and found a computer close to the door so Kimi could find me easily. I pushed the button on the computer screen and on the CPU.

I began eating my food as the computer started up again. I had a small sandwich since my stomach was acting weird. I was drinking sweet tea and had a bag or plain cheetos.

The computer finally came to life and I clicked on Internet explorer. I only wanted to know exactly what Hollywood said he was doing. Like what movie was he filming, who they thought he was dating, and other rumors. Maybe I sound like an obsessed fan, but he was going to be around a lot I needed to know more about him.

Suddenly I heard footsteps behind me. Soon they stopped and Kimi stood right beside me.

“I absolutely hate the traffic in this town. Some guy cut me off in the parking lot, but the fact that some person made me sit through a light twice because they were on the phone. Took everything in me not to get out and throw their phone to the ground.”

Well I guess it doesn’t take a genius to figure out Kimi as some anger issues. Most of the time I am there to help her calm down. Thankfully she didn’t completely explode.

I sat my sandwich on the wrapper.

“Well sorry Kimi. Um…if you’re hungry you might want to get something to eat now. This conversation might have you lose you appetite.”

Kimi nodded and walked toward the counter.

I could tell she really needed to calm down. The expression on her face could make a grown man cower from fear. She always promised me that she wouldn’t let some idiot make her do something she would later regret.

The screen was now displaying YAHOO! I starred at the search box before I typed in the name to search. Robert Pattinson

Yahoo search began with my request. I turned my head toward Kimi and saw that she was now paying for her food.

The place was actually petty empty. There were only about two other people here.

I could tell he was clearly frustrated since he looked to be texting.

Suddenly I tore my eyes away. He deserved his privacy. Probably the reason he is here, no doubt. When I turned my head Kimi was pulling up an extra seat. She had a big sandwich along with a drink, no doubt Dr. Pepper, and a bag of BBQ flavored Fritos.

“Okay now could you please explain who your mom is dating? You know I hate all the suspense. Just come out and say it.”

I swear that is why she gets in trouble so much. She says exactly what is on her mind and it doesn’t phase her one bit.

“Just don’t go all fan girl on me and try to keep all questions until after I am through. Oh and just so you know what I am about to tell you can’t be repeated. I will tell Alex on my own.”

Kimi had already begun eating her food. She nodded her head since her mouth was full of food.

“Well when I got home I had to put my things away. Afterward I went back downstairs since my mom wanted me to meet him in the kitchen.”

I couldn’t help but add a little suspense just to piss her off. I couldn’t help but look at her face and sighed. She really actually looked funny. She wanted, I could just tell, to make me get on with it.

“When I got to the kitchen there was a guy sitting at the counter with a pair of shades on his face. My mom introduced him as Robert. He was actually nice compared to most of her man toys. She explained that they were going to be around a lot for he had some premiers coming up.”

I took my chance to see Kimi’s reaction. Exactly what I thought her face had a shocked expression. No doubt the expression I wore when I received the news myself. This would be the first celebrity my mom ever dated. Of course she worked with many but she never actually dated any.

I decided to continue. This would be the time that she would start hyperventilating and screaming. I could already hear the screams and the residents of Australia complaining about the noise.

“She then realized that I wasn’t going all crazy. She noticed the reason for this reaction. Robert still had on his shades. She confronted him and he removed his shades. Well here it goes, My mom is dating . . . “

I could have laughed at her expression. She wanted to strangle me fro keeping her waiting.

“Robert Pattinson.”

I looked at Kimi. I couldn’t help but bust out laughing. She was sitting there with a blank expression on her face with her mouth practically hanging open and her hand was hold her sandwich.

I began repeating her name between giggles.

“Kimi, KIMI, KIMI ROSE JOHNSON.”

Well that worked. She hated to be called her full name, especially in public at a very loud volume.

“A-ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS?”

Now I get the reaction I was expecting.

“Lower your voce Kimi. Yeah I am being completely fucking serous.”

Kimi began sitting her things down. She had this starry look on her face. I could already see her trying to get an autograph from Robert.

“Now Kimi you can’t say anything to anyone. My mom said you and Alex are the only ones I could tell. The press doesn’t know they are dating and they, I guess are waiting for the right time to announce their dating status.”

“Alright . . . wow. I can’t believe she actually found a nice guy.”

“Yeah, apparently. He actually cared about what I thought about him and their relationship.”

Kimi began putting a chip in her mouth. Crunch, Crunch, Crunch. Suddenly a smirk formed her lips.

“I thought that you had a crush on this guy.”

I couldn’t help the fact that my cheeks had darkened. Of course Kimi would bring up the number one thing I wanted to forget about.

“Kimi I am really trying to forget that.”

I heard Kimi snicker at my comment.

“Kimi my own mother is dating him I have to get rid of this little crush. It could really mess something up for them.”

Kimi seemed to be thinking about what I said. I could only hope that she could help with my problem.

“Alright, now what are we doing here for?”

“Well, I just wanted to do some research about exactly what the press says he is doing.”

Kimi nodded her head.

“Alright well let’s just figure out what the press thinks is going on.”

I nodded my head and turned toward my computer to get ready for our research. I just hope that Kimi can help me get rid of this crush.
