Amanda's pov

I sighed as I stared at the door my sister has disappeared behind. Knowing her though, she wouldn’t be up till god only knows when. Once she's in a mood and falls asleep she usually sleeps for hours. So instead of just sitting here waiting for her to either wake up, get a call from Bobby, I decided to just take a walk and see if I could find Sam and Dean.

The sun was just starting to come up as I made my way down the empty street, besides the usual car driving by every so often. I always loved walking at this time, it was quiet and sort of peaceful, even though I knew things weren’t going to be for long. But just seeing the sky turn light shades of pink and oranges, just seemed to make me relax.

A shiver ran up my spine as a cool breeze started to blow, but strangely enough I loved it. It was the total opposite of what Rebekah liked. She loved the warm and hot weather, and I never really understood why. But my guess would be that it started when she met Ethan.

I sighed shaking my head to get rid of those thoughts. I was on a mission right now to find the Winchester boys, and with my luck if I got to deep into thoughts about my sister I would get myself lost; again.

Thinking about getting lost again, and with what happened last time I stopped in my tracks to look around to see if I knew where I was at all. That was when a diner called Johnny Mac’s in big red letters caught my eye, I had a gut feeling that was where Dean and Sam were.

When I walked into the diner, I immediately found Dean and Sam sitting at a table near the back talking. I walked over, pulled a chair up the table and smiled at them. "Did Bobby call yet?"

"Yeah he called about five minutes ago. He said that Pam's out of ICU and she's fine, besides being blind and all." Sam said, mumbling the last part and glaring at his brother. I must have missed something beforehand. "And Dean is thinking about summoning Castiel or whatever. Which personally I think is a bad idea, since look what happened to Pam."

I furrowed my eyebrows at Dean, he just stared between Sam and I. "Are you crazy? Why the hell would you summon whatever that thing was, just to probably be blind as well? It's a pretty stupid idea Dean."

Hearing Dean scoff at my answer made me glare at him. "Do you two have a better idea? Huh?"

"As a matter of fact I do Dean." Sam announced, looking at Dean and then I. "I followed demons into town right? So we go find 'em? Someone's gotta know something about something." I liked Sam's idea way much better than Dean's, I do have to admit. But either way both plans would never work, demons always lie

. I watched the waitress walk over and place the plates in front of Dean and Sam. I didn't like the way she looked at us, and I definitely didn't like the way she pulled out a chair and sat at the table with us either.

"You ambling for a tip?" Dean smirked at the waitress.

"I'm sorry, I thought you were looking for us?" She smirked as well while her eyes turned black.

Great, a demon diner.

After all the big talk from the demon known as “Flo,” we ended up getting nowhere. It turned out that she knew nothing about who pulled Dean out, and neither did the other demons in the diner.

By the time we got out of the diner the sun was fully out, and the streets got slightly busier. But now that I know demons are in this town, and more than one of them, I was definitely not going to take a walk by myself again until we hit another town.

“Holy crap that was close,” Dean grumbled as we made our way back to the hotel.

“We’re not going to leave them, are we?” Sam asked looking at his brother as we walked, and by this point I was getting kind of annoyed at their tall frames, because I had to slightly jog to keep up with their fast and long strides.

Thank you mom for giving me all the short genes.

“Yeah, there’s three of them, probably more.” Dean replied. “We only got one knife between us.”

I narrowed my eyes. Did they seriously think that? “You guys aren’t serious are you?” I asked moving in front of them to get them to stop walking. “Do you think my sister and I don’t have what it takes to take those bastards down?”

"Well... No offense sweetheart, you don't look like you could handle a demon on your own. You're sister, yeah maybe, with her bitch of an attitude and all. But you, definitely not." I scoffed and wanted to punch Dean in the face when he said that. He thought I couldn't handle myself, what a sexist piece of...

"Dean, I may be small but my sister and I have been hunting for awhile now. We both know how to handle ourselves perfectly fine on our own. But if you don't want our help fighting those demons from the diner, or demons just in general because we're women, then you're an asshole." I glared at Dean and Sam by accident, and scoffed as I turned around and started to walk away.

I felt a strong grip on my shoulder and was turned around to stare up at Sam's face. "Amanda, Dean's just being an insensitive prick like usual." I almost smiled when I heard Dean let out a small defensive 'hey!' from behind Sam's back. "We do want your help, and we both know that you and Bekah can take care of yourselves. Dean is just..well... you'll get used to him eventually." I smiled up at Sam and shrugged off his grip on my shoulder, I didn't like the way he was scrutinizing my face.

After that I tuned Sam and Dean's conversation about the demons back in the diner out. I felt that annoying feeling in my stomach and head that only meant one thing.

Amanda, where the hell are you?

Dean, Sam and I are walking back to the motel now, I can see it from where I am.

Why didn't you wake me up?

Er, why would I? You're kind of a bitch when you get woken up. Plus, I wanted to let you sleep since you haven't gotten much lately.

You know how I don't like it when you just leave me like that Manda..

I was going to answer Bekah back in my head, but instead I crashed into Sam's chest. I didn't realize we had walked into the motel room, and I didn't realize Sam had stopped walking either.

“Where’s Rebekah?” He asked looking around the room, not even acknowledging that I had bumped into him.

“She’s in your room,” I told him with a shrug, as I moved around him and plopped myself down on the couch. “Remember, I told you this at the diner?” I added rolling my eyes.

"Sounds like a good plan if I do say so myself!" Dean said rubbing his hands over his eyes, and walking away from Sam and I for a nap. I rolled my eyes, and just continued to sit on the couch while Sam went and got a few beers. I shook my head when he sat down on the couch next to me and offered a beer.

"So how long have you and Rebekah been hunting?" Sam asked breaking the some what awkward silence that creeped up between us after Dean had left.

"Well our dad used to hunt when we were younger, tried to teach us techniques and what not for when we were ready. Once we turned fifteen, we legitimately became hunters. So Bekah's been in the game longer than I. I've only been doing it for about eight years while she's been doing it for eleven."

"Wow, so you both didn't have a chance to do anything but hunt?" I furrowed my eyebrows at Sam, I didn't like the judgmental tone he had when he said that. He must have noticed the look I was producing. "No, I didn't mean anything by that Amanda. I just mean you and Bekah didn't want to go to college? Or get some other kind of job?"

"To be honest, I never really thought about going to college. I hated middle and high school when I had to go, and so did Bekah. We used to love hunting with our dad when we got the chance, so we never really wanted to do anything else. Plus with the situation she's in right now, I don't think she would ever consider anything besides hunting..." Shit! Now Sam's looking at me with a curious glance. I shouldn't have mentioned anything about our situation right now.

Time to change the subject. "What about you? Did you ever think about doing anything else than hunting?"

He stared at me for a minute, he knew I changed the subject on purpose. I was glad he didn't push me into telling him, like Dean would have. "Yeah, I actually went to Harvard. Dean came to me one night when our dad just disappeared on a hunting job. Dean was worried and wanted me to help him. I originally didn't want to hunt at all, but once Jessica died from the yellow-eyed demon, I decided I would hunt with Dean until I killed the demon. But after we finally killed him, and after our dad died, I decided to just stick with Dean and hunt."

Not knowing what to say after that I just gave him a small smile and nodded my head like a moron. I watched him get up to throw away the empty beer bottles. I couldn't help but just stare at him, I wasn't going to lie, he was a very attractive guy. And I definitely couldn't help but stare at his ass when he slightly bent over to get another couple beers. He had a nice ass as well. And I'm pretty sure, if it were visible I'd definitely stare at his other private part..

BAD BAD BAD!I slapped my forehead, quite hard if I do say so myself, and shook my head to get rid of those unwanted, unnecessary thoughts about Sam.

There are rules to being a hunter, well rules for me, and the number one rule was never be attracted to anyone; cause that usually ends up getting a stupid little crush and or relationship. Which always ends up badly.

I mean, look where that got Rebekah and Ethan. They were getting married, and now he's dead. Being a hunter, you never should get involved with anyone. Someone always ends up hurt and or dead.
