Goodbye My Lover

Charlottes’ P.O.V.

It was 6:45pm the next night and I was showered and dressed .
My dad knew about everything and was pleased. He approved.

I was ready and sitting on the couch in the living room.
There was a knock at the door and I sprang up and rushed to the door. I was so excited.
I inhaled deeply and opened the door.

Nick’s P.O.V.

I gasped as Charlie opened the door and stood there.
She was breathtakingly beautiful.
I mouthed a silent ‘wow’ and she blushed.

“You look… amazing Char!” I said.
“Why thank you, you look quite dashing yourself.” She said blushing.
“Shall we go?” I said very posh-like.
“Indeed.” She said equally posh.

I took hold of her hand and lead her to my car.
I opened the passenger door for her and she got in, while I shut it behind her.
I walked over to the drivers’ side and slid in.

“Where are we going?” Charlie asked.
“To the movies, I already have tickets; I apologize if you do not like horror movies.” I said concerned.
“No that’s fine.” She said smiling that smile that made my heart melt.

We pulled up to the cinema and parked the car.

We walked into the theatre and sat down right in the middle.

“Wow it’s deserted in here, we’re the only ones!” Charlie exclaimed.
I just nodded.
Little did she know; I had booked out the whole theatre so we could be alone.
Not in the creepy, dirty way.

“So what movie is this?” She asked.
“Paranormal Activity.” I said taking a drink of my diet coke.
“Cool.” She said and then the movie started.

In the really scary parts, Charlie snuggled up into my chest and I put my arm around her.
After the movie we walked out to my car and got in.
I drove her home just talking to her about the movie.

We arrived at her house and I walked her up the path to her front door.

“I had a really great time tonight.” She said.
“Me too.” I said smiling.
“So…” She said.
“So… Uh goodnight Charlotte.” I said.
“Night Nick.” She said and went to turn away.
“Wait.” I said grabbing her hand.
She spun around and faced me.
I gulped and slowly leant forward.
Finally, our lips made contact and I saw fireworks in my head. I had never experienced a kiss like this in my lifetime!
We finally broke the kiss grinning.
“Night.” She said pecking me on the cheek and walking inside.

I sat in my car playing the whole thing back over in my head.
