Rei never did anything to impress anyone. She was living in a world where the only way she could survive, was to fit in and behave herself. Moving to a new country and learning the native language was easy enough, well, she didn't really have a choice anyways......

But when criminals begin to drop like flies and the mysterious detective L steps in to discover who's playing God, she finds it impossible to dismiss her urging instincts to find the answers herself, even if it does lead her into trouble.

When she finds herself working alongside L himself, she knows she'll uncover the murderer.

However, his suspicion of Light Yagami, who Rei's had a crush on since she arrived in Japan, is ridiculous. There's just no way the intelligent, handsome and kind, Light, would ever kill another being!
