Billie’s POV
Fuck this hurts. I couldn’t move at all.
Silvia came over to me and changed the bandage, which was around my shoulder.
“You don’t have to do this Silvia, you should be watching over Ray and Frank.”
Silvia shook her head.
“They’ll be fine. They aren’t hurt or something.”
I looked at her as she took the bandage off my shoulders.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have fought back against them.”
“It’s ok. Luckily, Tre and Mike weren’t there. But the others now know that you’re a El Guradians.”
“The radio thing? You contacted them?”
“Yeah…I did.” she said quietly as she put the new bandage on.
“Shit. Argh..”
This wound hurt like hell as Silvia wrapped the bandage around it tightly.
As she tied it in place, I hugged her.
She looked at me in shock as tear began to run down my eyes.
“Silvia…why…why did you go with them on purpose?”
Silvia’s POV
Suddenly, Billie hugged me and I looked at him in shock.
Tear began to fall down his cheeks.
“Silvia…why…why did you go with them on purpose?”
I looked at him straight in the eyes.
“Because I wanted to save Frank and Ray. And now I want to save you too Billie.”
Billie just hugged me tighter and began to sing softly.
”Another turning point a fork stuck in the road
Time grabs you by the wrist directs you where to go
So make the best of this test and don't ask why

I looked at him as he kept singing,

Billie’s POV
Silvia started crying so I continued singing.
”So take the photographs and still frames in your mind
Hang it on a shelf in good health and good time
Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial
For what it's worth it was worth all the while.

Silvia just shook her head slowly as I slowly released her from my hold.

I smiled weakly at her as she slowly put her head to my chest.
“You’re still living Billie, your heart is still beating so I’m not leaving here until you get better.”
“Leaving here?”
“When the time is right that is…but for now…I just want to stay here so I’ll know that you’re alive and that Frank and Ray safely get through this.”
I sighed as Silvia stayed in that position and drifted off to sleep.
She hadn’t slept for a while and I knew she was tired.
I stroked her hair as I looked up at the ceiling.
“Why does the world have to be so cruel on us? What have we done?”
