Justin pulled me out to the backyard. We sat in a little bench facing the pool. Justin pulled out his guitar.

I smiled “What are you gonna show me?”

The strummed the guitar softly and smiled. “I’ve been working on this song for Brighten.”

Justin had told me about his band. They weren’t playing together because Justin’s brother Jimmy was away being a minister for African children. So that’s how he joined Nick and Eric.

“Really!” I asked him with sincere excitement. I had listened to Brighten’s stuff and Justin blew me away. “Let me hear it!”

He was babbling. “I’d be honored to really.” He sighed in response.

Mandy had attached herself to Nick a usual only whining about stuff and how his friends didn’t like her. The only way to shut her up was to make out with her, and its not like Nick minded much he was still a guy after all.

So currently that’s what Nick was doing. But then an angelic voice broke his concentration.

“Um where’s Justin?” Nina asked and Nick couldn’t help but feel a little jealous. Why couldn’t she be asking for him and not Justin.

“Looking for me?” speaking of the devil and he shall appear. Nick watched as they shared a hug. He balled his fists at the sight.

“Can I show you something?” Justin asked Nina as he pulled her out to backyard.

“How can she be wearing a hoodie in this kind of weather?” The screeching voice brought Nick back. Mandy was sitting there bad mouthing his girl. wait what? my girl

“Maybe cause she has the decency to wear actual clothes and not underwear.” Jess scoffed as she glared at Mandy and her short shorts that could pass of as those boy-shorts underwear and her white see threw tank top, Mandy was also pulling a Miley Cyrus with her bra.

“Nicky you’re gonna let her talk to me like that!” She screeched even more.

Nick got up from his spot on the couch ignoring her. “I’m gonna get a drink.”

When he got to the kitchen, the sight in the window caught his attention. Justin was strumming his guitar and singing. he’s serenading her he growled at the sight. that should be me.
