Sequel: *** Isn't My Case

It Was a Lie When They Smiled

So close

Ashley’s POV

“Ashley,” Mikey called.

I jumped and turned around, “What?”

Mikey sighed.

“Come here.” He gestured me to come sit next to him on the couch by patting on the spot next to him. I quickly closed my phone and went over to him and sat down.

“Sup?” I asked as I leaned into his arms.

“I love you,” he said wrapping his arms around me.

“I love you too,” I said smiling.

Gerard’s POV

“You guys ready?” I asked before we got on stage.

“Yeah,” Frank and Dee chimed and they squeezed each other’s hands.

“Yep,” Ray said.

Bob nodded.

“Mikey?” I asked.

“Ugh… Mikey,” I said again looking around.

Frank and Dee sighed and moved over.

Mikey and Ashley were hugging each other extremely tight.

I sighed.

“Yo Mikey!” I half-yelled.

Mikey quickly pulled away from Ashley. “Sorry. What now?”

“You ready?” Frank asked.

Mikey nodded.

A few minutes later we were going onto the stage as the crowd roared and cheered.

“London!” I yelled after the first few songs.

Dee told them about doing the wave.

“Wait…it goes this way,” Dee said pointing to the right side of the arena.

“Since when,” I asked.

“I don’t know, Gee, but tonight it’s going this way,” Delilah said pointing to the left.

“Alright on the count of thr- well you guys gotta sit down for it to work,” said laughing a little bit. I watched as the whole arena sank to its knees.

I felt like friggin' God.

If I told them to stand they’d stand.

If I told them to hug the person next to them they’d hug the person next to them.

I could probably stop water from falling off of a water fall.

Delilah on the other hand…she was like a flippin' goddess.

We’re so spoiled.

Ashley’s POV

“Aww, I love him so much,” Kierstyn said, laughing.

“I know. Look at him rock of on that bass."

“I meant Gerard, but okay.”

We both laughed.

“Ooh I’m vibrating,” I said jumping up and down.

I pulled my phone out of my pocket.

A new text message.

“Ugh…,” I said looking at Kierstyn.

“I’ll be right back.”

“Okay,” she replied.

I ran into the dressing room and looked at my text message.

Wow. Your husband’s band is really hyper tonight. I think we could have done the wave a little bit better though.

I blinked.

Not only was he here in London. He was here. And he knew Mikey was my husband. That scared the shit out of me.

Kierstyn’s POV

During intermission Gerard ran down the stares and hugged me.

“Kierstyn… Where’s Ashley?” Mikey asked me.

I pulled away from Gerard and held his hand.

“She went somewhere. She just told me she’d be right back,” I replied.

Mikey thanked me and took off. Frank followed.

Frank’s POV

“Why are you following me?” Mikey asked.

“I gotta change my shirt. You know it gets pretty hot under these bullet proof vests,” I replied.

Mikey sighed.

We went into the dressing room to find Ashley sitting there texting. She jumped and looked up at us quickly closing her phone.

“Whatcha doin’?” I asked.

“Ugh, nothing,” she said stuffing her phone in her back pocket.

Mikey and Ashley both went into the hall way while I quickly changed my shirt.

Mikey’s POV

“Sweetie, what’s going on?” I asked.

“Nothing,” Ashley replied.

I sighed and gave her a hug.

“I love you,” she said.

“I love you, too,” I said yanking her phone out of her back pocket.

Ashley jumped back then tried jumping for the phone.

“No,” I said holding it up.

“Mikey,” she whined.

I put her phone in my jeans pocket along with my hands.

“Come on, Frank. Hurry up,” I called.

Frank opened the door and came out.

“Done,” he said in his victory voice.

Ashley walked behind us as we walked back to the stage.

As soon as we appeared to the entrance of the stage, Delilah ran up to Ashley and gave her a hug.

While Ashley was distracted I pulled her phone out of my pocket. I started walking towards Gerard and not even realizing it.

“Why do you have Ashley’s phone?” Gerard asked.

“She was texting again. I need to see who she’s texting but I don’t know her password.”

“You shouldn’t be looking though her text messages anyway,” Kierstyn said.

“But I’m worried about her,” I replied.

“When she’s ready to tell you what’s up she’ll tell you. You can’t just invade her privacy,” Gerard said.

I sighed. “Fine.”
