Hear Me Now

As soon as I heard my sister was in the hospital I called Kole, he
promise to come. Then I called Chris, he answered his phone in a
frustrated tone. But that changed as my breathe came out as sharp
huffs, and sobs kept me from talking.

"Moriah? Hun?!" He asked, I could hear the concern lacing his soft
words.

"She's in the hospital..." I gasped, trying to stop myself from
crying. My body shook as my silent tears flowed freely.

"Who Moriah? Who's in the hospital?" He asked calmly, his voice
soothing me.

"Taylor! Taylor is in the hospital!" I cried out. I heard his sharp
intake of breath before he replied calmly.

"Well... I'm sorry..." His voice was shaky, and he sounded as though
he didn't want to hear about it. "But your sister cheated on me, and
we are not together anymore..." His voice was still calm.

"What?!" I asked angrily. Not wanting to believe it. "With who?" My
words were filled with anger.

"Kl..." He mumbled making it hard for me to understand.

"What?" I asked.

"Kole..." He sighed, his voice was sad.

“No…” I replied, not believing what he was telling me. “That’s not true!” I yelled, I slammed my phone shut, and ran out the door, keys in hand, fresh tears filling my eyes.

Angry, hurt tears.
