Bulletproof

*Jussi's POV*

I stepped out of the shop with two armfuls of grocery bags. I was very excited to have some one on one time with Wynter even if she was with Ville. Tonight I would turn on my infamous Finnish charm. A little competition wouldn't hurt right?

Flagging down a taxi cab with some difficulty, I began the journey back to Jykri's mansion.

"Typykkä I'm home!" I called out as I opened the door.

I didn't hear any reply.

"Wynter?" I yelled coming into the kitchen and setting the bags of various items down.
"Are we playing hide and seek now?" I said smiling. I enjoyed a good chase.

I walked into the living room after hearing a sneeze and almost died.
She was sitting on the couch with Jyrki's dog splayed out on her lap looking up at her and her face was liquid paper white. She looked ready to fall over and die.

"I see you've met Arto," I chuckled watching the two.

She jumped up at the sound of my voice caused Arto to growl fiercely which is when I interviened.
"Bad Artie you be nice," I scolded him as I pulled the enormous dog off the poor girl and went and locked him in the bathroom.
When I came back, Wynter was running a shaky hand through her hair and sighing in relief.
"You don't like dogs," I stated watching her.
"No I have no problem with them. That was not a dog, that was a horse," she answered getting up and following me to the kitchen once more.
"He's a baby I assure you," I laughed as I began to pull the various things from the bags.
"So what are you making?" she questioned sitting on the granite counter next to me and flipping her burgandy bangs out of her face.
"Kukkakaalilaatikko," I answered, pulling out a head of cauliflower.
"Um, what is that exactly?" she tilted her head slightly to the left and creased her brow.
"Cauliflower Rye Casserole," I translated and she eased up as I continued.
"My mother taught me a lot about cooking believe it or not," I said flashing a grin as I began preparing the dish.
"I would have never guessed," she smiled shyly.
"You'd be surprised what things I know how to do," I smirked as she blushed a deep maroon.

Oh yes, this was going to be easy.
