Just a Little Information
I never really believed I’d ever fit in anywhere. I had always had a hard time adjusting to my families. Foster families.
I never knew what a real family was like. A mother, cooking all day in the kitchen. A father, waking up early to go to work and home just before dinner. Maybe a sister who borrows her older sister’s make up, trying to act grown up.
I never had a chance to be a child. You see, I had to grow up fast. Jumping from foster home to foster home wasn’t easy. But my past isn’t important.
It’s the here and the now. I ended up landing a job in the FBI. The BAU, to be exact. I always knew what I wanted to do when I was little. There was never a question about it. I wanted to find the bad guys. Put them away. For good.
I guess you could say I made a family here. A mock family. A rendition of the family I never got to have.
