Blown Away

I just have to say that I have never gotten out of my car so fast. I raced over to her doubled-over form as fast as I could. "Baby..." With one hand holding her hair back, I rubbed her back soothingly. She whimpered as she wiped her mouth on the back of her hand, looking at me with tear filled eyes. "It's okay..." I hugged her to me gently, still rubbing her back.
She shook her head, burying her face in my shirt. Sighing, I kissed the top of her head. "...Can I ask you something...?" She nodded slowly. I checked my watch. "...Is this morning sickness...?"
