On the Surface I Have the Perfect Life, But My Life Isn't Surfacing

Disaster(29)

Outside looked like a holiday card, a bloody freezing holiday card!

I shivered, as Marcus and I slushed through the snow.

I looked up at him, he was wrapped up In a massive barbour jacket and scarf. He looked down at me and saw my shivers. He wrapped a strong arm around my shoulders, strangely I didn’t shake it off as usual.

“its really beautiful out here” I murmured.

“mm it is, can we just stop a minute?” Marcus said stopping, and turning to face me.

He looked at me, then right, then left, then up and then down.

I laughed as he bobbed around.

“What are you doing” I giggled.

He grabbed my shoulders again and stared at me “I was just checking there was nobody around, so I could do this...”

“wha-” My question was interrupted by Marcus’s lips crashing down on mine, his hands cupping my face as he kissed me intensely.

I ruffled my hands through his hair, as his hands held my waist on either side. My hands settled on his neck.

I felt my heart beat twice as fast as normal, and there was a strong tingly feeling in my tummy.

But soon-too soon Marcus moved his lips at mine and stared at me.

His eyes bore into me, his red lips settling into a smooth line.

I smiled at him. But he didn’t return it, he reached for my hands, still staring at me.

“I have something to ask you” Marcus said.

“yes?”

“….. Was that as good as my brothers?” He asked sternly.
