Chapter Ten
The next day, as soon as class had ended, Nick asked me out on a date.
"Really?" I asked him, as we stood up from our seats.
"Yeah. I really like you and I'd like it if I could take you out on an official first date," he said, smiling at me.
"Oh, okay. When and where?" I asked, as we were now out in the hallway, ready to go to our next class.
"Friday. And since I want it to be a surprise, I'll be at your house by eight," he said, smirking now.
"A surprise? I'm not really good with those," I said honestly, earning a laugh from him. "So you know I'll be begging you in class until then."
"I think I can manage," he said, now making me laugh instead of him.
"Alright, whatever you say," I said, "we better get to class before we're late."
"Yeah, you're probably right," he said, agreeing with me. "But not without a kiss first."
I rolled my eyes, but smiled anyway, as I gave him a quick kiss on the lips, before any of the professors saw.
"See you later," he said, winking at me as we started heading in different directions.
I smiled and waved, heading to my next class.
