We Get On

Willow awoke first that morning and couldn’t help but gaze at Jacob’s sleeping face with a tender smile on her face.

She rubbed his cheek lovingly and couldn’t help but smile as she heard him mumble I love you too Willow in his sleep.

She tried to turn so she would be laying on her other side, but as soon as she moved Jacob snuggled her closer to his body.

Willow laughed and moved her lips over to his jaw and began kissing it lightly, she heard Jacob moan lightly and she moved her lips down to his neck where she began sucking playfully until she sunk her teeth down and bit him playfully.

Jacob growled playfully and rolled so that he was on top of Willow. Willow scrunched her nose at him and Jacob couldn’t help but place his lips roughly on hers.

They messed around on the bed for a little while before they settled down and just laid side by side looking into each other’s eyes Jacob caressed her back softly and said, “I love you Willow.”

“If you keep saying it, it’s not going to make my heart flutter as much.”

“Lies.”

“Yeah, I just like teasing you.”

“I’m really glad you came up from Venice. If you hadn’t come up who knows what would’ve happened.”

“The world would’ve found a way of bringing us together when two people belong together the world plots and makes them end up together.”

“That’s why I love you.”

It had been a whole week since Edward had spoken to anyone in his family. He went to school, went home and locked himself in his room to sulk; it was worse than when he had been trying to avoid Bella and everyone in the house was suffering.

“Edward,” came a soft voice from the other side of the door.

He sighed before responding, “Just leave me alone Alice.”

“Edward it’s really important it’s about Willow’s future.”

Immediately the door opened and a worried Edward appeared in the doorway. Alice walked into the room, making sure to keep her thoughts hidden from Edward because she wanted to tell him and not just have him see.

She sat down on his futon and patted the spot beside her so that he would join her. Alice grabbed her brother’s hands and looked him in the eyes and began, “Her life can go two ways.”

“What are they?”

“You know what they are Edward, I don’t have to tell you.”

“Just tell me.”

“Either her future disappears because she goes with Jacob or you turn her into one of us.”

“Does she look happy with us?”

“Thrilled Edward and you look the happiest that any human, vampire, or wolf could ever look. I know you messed up, but you have to remember that you didn’t kill her.”

“I almost did! If Jacob hadn’t shown up I would’ve killed her. I don’t deserve her Alice, I don’t! I have Bella!”

“BELLA WON’T MAKE YOU HAPPY!”

“Yes she will!”

“There is no future with her! She will die.”

“I can turn her.”

“You won’t. You won’t turn her because you don’t love her enough to spend forever with her! You’ll spend seventy years with her but not forever. You need to get your head on straight Edward and go fight and get what you want.”

“But.”

“Edward do you really want to spend all of eternity without Willow by your side?”

“No.”

“Then what are you waiting for.”

Willow was putting freshly washed sheets on the bed and burning her favorite candle, she heard her window open and was a bit annoyed.

She told Jacob that she wanted to spend the afternoon alone so she turned around to tell him off but found herself looking into Edward Cullen’s beautiful face.

His eyes showed a pain unlike any she had ever seen before; there was a longing a burning desire alongside that pain

“What are you doing here,” asked Willow a little fear in her voice.

“I had to see you, I have to apologize.”

“I accept your apology you can leave now.”

“I can’t go. I won’t go,” he stated forcefully.

“Edward,” she hissed.

“Damn it Willow I’m not leaving you!”

“Why not? It’s been real easy for you to ignore me in the past so why can’t you just stay away from me NOW?!”

“Because.”

“Because isn’t a fucking answer!”

“Can’t you see that I’ve tried, I’ve tried in vain to stay away from you but I can’t. Your blood, it sings to me. Your laugh, it calls to me. Your eyes, they captivate me. Your body makes me ache for you. I love you, Willow. I’ve loved you from the moment I set eyes on you and I’ll love you for all of eternity.”

Willow’s jaw literally dropped and her eyes widened in confusion. Her thoughts were racing at a million miles per second and Edward grew scared, he reached out and touched her face and Willow regained her composure and said, “You can’t love me.”

“Yes I can.”

“No you can’t. I’m Jacob’s imprint.”

“But you’re my singer.”

“You’re what?”

“Your blood Willow is the most delicious blood I have ever smelled. You are my own personal brand of heroine and I can’t let you go. I’ve tried being selfless and letting you go but I can’t. I want you Willow, I want all of you forever; I need you.”

“No. I, no Edward you have Bella!”

“She means nothing to me Willow! You’re my everything! You know that bicycle you love so much?”

“Yeah.”

“I got that for you.”

“You’re the ones that’s been leaving me gifts?”

“Yes.”

“Why? Why didn’t you ever tell me?!”

“Because I was too embarrassed to show you how I felt. I was afraid.”

“Of what?”

“You not wanting me.”

“How could I not want you?”

Edward moved closer to Willow, and with each step forward he took she took one back until her back was against the wall and Edward was right in front of her.

Willow’s chest was rising and falling at an alarming rate, she knew it was wrong to kiss Edward while was with Jacob but something inside of her told her not to give a fuck to just do it; to not deny herself of this carnal pleasure.

His lips met hers with a force unlike any he had ever experienced. Their mouths opened automatically and their tongues began a violent tango.

His arms wrapped around her waist pressing her hot warm body to his ice cold one; making them both shiver in pleasure.

They stayed there lost in the kiss for several minutes until Willow broke away gasping for breath. She panted trying to regain her breath and Edward took the opportunity to kiss down her neck letting his fangs tread lightly above her hot flesh.

Edward pulled away and kissed her forehead lovingly and said, “I had you first and I’ll be damned if let Jacob steal you from me.”
