Chapter 5: Hailey's POV
I rolled my eyes as I flopped onto my bed.

It's a quarter after one, I'm all alone and I need you now
Said I wouldn't call, but I lost all control and I need you now
And I don't know how I can do without, I just need you no-
"Hello?"
"Okay so, I'm your best friend. Right?"
"Tammie? What? Yea, of course"
"And you'd want me to tell you if something bad happened right?"
"..Riiight..."
"Okay. So. Something happened."
"What happened?"
"I..um..okay...so..don't freak out okay?"
"...Okaaay"
"And don't get mad okay?"
"I won't."
"Promise?"
"Tsk! Tammie just tell me!"
"Okay okay okay. So....um..."
"SPIT IT OUT!"
"BRAD AND FIONA ARE GOING OUT!"
"..."
"...Hello?"
"I...I...what?"
I heard her sigh on the other line. "The whole world saw them making out in the hallway. I'm sorry Hails."
"It's...it's fine...it's just...a..shock you know?"
"I know. Trust me. I know."
"I just...I can't believe...she'd do that to me...in fact, I can't believe that HE'D do that to me!"
"Guys suck."
"I know!"
"Like they should just go die. In a hole. In Hell. All o-Well not ALL of them. Anthony can stay"
I laughed, despite how bad I was feeling.
"Yes, yes he can stay. By the way, how is he?"
She sighed dreamily, "He's finee."
I could practically hear the grin in her voice. "Sooooo, has he asked yet?"
"Tsk. No."
"I'm sure he'll ask soon."
Anthony was Tammie's boy-toy. They got together right before I left for Cali. I thought they were just adorable together. Now, all we were waiting for was for him to ask Tam to be his girlfriend.
I have it on good word that he was going to ask soon. Me and him talk on Facebook.
"I hope so." She said, sighing.
"He will, he'd be crazy not to."
"Yea...oh by the way how's Cali? I'm so mad that you left me!"
I frowned. "Yea, I know..life is good I guess. I miss everyone."
"We miss you too..hey are you on Aim?"
"Yea are you?"
"Yea."
"See you there!"
We hung up and I dove for my laptop, minimizing the window and going to iChat. I clicked the video chat button next to her screename and waited.
'Hey"
I grinned "Hey"
"How's life over there?"
"Great, how's life over there?"
"Eh."
"Any guys?"
"Nah, just this o-"
And then, Shane burst into my room.
"Hey do you h-Oh hey, who's this?"
I glared. "None of your damn business, that's what."
"Why so defensive?"
"Cause it's you. And why are you even here?!"
"That's not important anymore, what IS important is getting to know this lovely girl on the computer" he said, throwing his arm around me while setttling in on my bed.
"I'm taken." said Tammie from the laptop, an amused expression on her face.
"Aw..that's too bad." He turned to me. "How about you, are you taken?"
"What's it to you if I am?"
"Just wondering."
"You can wonder out in the hall."
"Hails, aren't you going to introduce me?"
"..No."
He rolled his eyes and said "I'm Shane. Her dad's friends with my dad."
"Ah" She said.
"Yea" I rolled my eyes. "He found out about my stories and now he won't leave me alone."
"Oh he found out you read stories about the Jonas Brothers?"
"You read stuff about the JONAS BROTHERS?"
"Tammie!" I groaned as I facepalmed myself.
"Oh my god, I'm sorry." The look on her face was like "Oh my god, don't kill me."
I looked to my right and scowled as I saw the smirk on his face.
"Tsk, go somewhere."
"I'd rather not. I'd rather stay right here and learn more about your stories."
"You really wouldn't."
"I really would."
"Hey Hailey, did you tell him about the OTHER stories?"
He looked confused, "What other stories?"
"You know the one's abou-"
"OKAY!" I all but screamed, cutting her off. "I think I should go, I'll vc with you later Tam" I said, giving her a look that said "You better watch yourself because I'm killing you later"
She merely grinned back, and said "Have fun!"
I groaned as I closed my laptop.
I turned and found that his face was really close to mine.
"So...stories?"
"Yeaa..."
"Care to enlighten me?"
"Nope. And if you don't get off me in two seconds, you might lose the arm."
He smirked but removed his arm.
"Why are you up here anyways?"
"Oh, I was hungry."
I rolled my eyes. "Come on" I said, grabbing his arm. "Let's see if we have anything"

Sorry if this chapter's crappy, I was doing it during my research periods and Tia (TheCookieMonster11) happened to be there and so this chapter is basically what a conversation between us would be like.Leave a comment/review?
