Still Breathing

Nick’s life had been nothing but blessed; he had parents who loved him, brothers who teased him, but still looked out for him, friends to joke and dream with, and a wife who was his other half in every sense. He loved her more than anything in the world and that only increased when they created two children together.

Then life threw a ball from left field, smacking Nick upside the head, turning his life upside down.

Can Nick find the strength to realize he’s still breathing or will he just give up and stop breathing?

Amy is 23

The story will have flashbacks, so please don’t get confused. I will try to clarify the ages in the author’s note if I feel it’s not clear.
