Burning Like A Candle
"Breaking News, Nicholas Jonas has gone solo. His new band, Nick Jonas and the Administration, will be set to tour soon."
Nick sighed as he flipped back and forth between entertainment news channels. His news was big, apparently, and had landed all of the channels. He looked at his brothers, who were wearing smiles that seemed almost sad.
"The end of an era." Joe whispered, smiling at his little brother.
"You guys sure about this?" Nick asked, his worried look going between his big brothers, his inspirations, his best friends.
"Yeah. With the wedding coming up, I'm too busy for the Jonas Brothers." Kevin said sadly, but grinning at the mention of his upcoming wedding.
"And it's time I did something bigger." Joe struggled with his words, patting Nick on the shoulder.
"Knock them dead." Nick smiled at their encouragement.
"Nick Jonas is going solo." He whispered to himself, not aware of the truth behind the words.
