I’m sitting here, by the shore, waiting for dawn. I won’t look back; I already know what I’ll see. In a room the couple is snuggled in their wedding bed, mindless of my departure.
Once, I believed he would see past my silence and into my love. I bet my entire life on this, and yet, she came, leaving me as the third wheel.
