"Yes, it is all a part of the Quillette ways." he explained, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.
"Im-imprinting?" i stuttered, still confused. Paul nodded, looking at me deeply while I frantically looked anywhere but him. I sighed, "So there's the whole shape-shifting thing, vampires, the family, i -i'm sorry, it's just... it's a lot to take in," i let out a soft laugh.
He smiled, pulling me close to him so that i could sit on his lap, "I know, Al. But the first part is what's important for you to know, well… at least for now." he kissed the top of my head, "At least then you wont freak out when i told you i love you someday".
I look up at him with a questioning expression, while he on the other hand, looked calm. An unreadable look in his eyes. "You do?", i managed to let out a voice.
"You're the reason i breathe now," he simply said before kissing me full on the lips.
I smiled into the kiss, "Say it".
"I love you"
