Fatality: The Final Race

"Autumn, Can I just...ask something."

"Sure baby."

"Why--why have you always stopped--told me I'm different."

"I...I don't know." I paused, "You're just..different...and I'm afraid to lose you."

"Having sex with me isn't going to end us."

"If..If I hurt you...it could."

She just shook her head.

"James--you don't know--I wouldn't know what do to do if I hurt you."

"You won't hurt me."

"James--no."

She rolled over and fell asleep. I lay there--I knew what her and I both wanted but--I couldn't risk her getting hurt--I just wished she'd understand that. I stared at the celining until the phone rang.

"Hey Damen."

"Autumn--your up. Listen there's a race in four hours--you in?"

"Um..sure...details?"

"Prep for Fatality prep. $3,000"

"Okay--I'll be there."

"See you there."

"Bye-"

I walked back into my room, "James--get up."

She opened her eyes---"I'm awake--I have been for two hours."

"I have a race in four hours."

"Of course you do."

"James."

"You always race!"

"James---"

"I know--your getting us out. I've heard it all before."

"Baby...." I pulled her into my arms, "Please don't."

"...I'm sorry." She sighed, "I just...I hate being your second."

"You're not. I'd put you before every race."

She nodded.

"Jamie--please."

She just sighed.

I kissed her and felt her skin under my fingertips. I pushed her down to the bed and slowly pulled off her shirt. She kissed me harder running her fingers through my hair. Slowly, gently her jeans slid off--my hands grazing her hips softly. I watched her move as more of her clothes came off--and I lay there fully clothed. My lips moved over her chest as my hand moved over her legs. I saw the look in her eye--I knew what she wanted. I moved my hand up and down her body tracing every curve. I layed my head by hers and pressed my hips against hers.

"I have to go race. I love you."

She glared as I got up, "That...horrible...mean."

I kissed her, "I'll make it up to you later."

She got up and got dressed and headed to my race.

"Autumn."

"What Boss"

"Here." He handed me $8,000 and walked off.

The race went like every other--I won....same story. There weren't any crashes..sad for me.

"You won."

"Ya."

"You have another one in 30 minutes"

"Great"

"I'll meet you there."

I went to my house and got food.

"You're mean."

I shrugged, "You liked it."

"Not the stopping part."

I kissed her, "I told you..I'll make it up to you."

She smiled and I ran out the door to meet Damen.

I got in the car as she dropped the flag. My car stalled--It was a drag. I had to catch up. I passed them and won the race. There. Another $3000.
