Chapter Fourteen (The Final Chapter)

(Lou Cepher holds three hearts in his hand…blood seeps down his arms and splatters his clothes.)

Lou Cepher: (smirks) Thank you sirs…your donation is in service of the king…

(Tom, Georg and Gustav lay lifeless in a bloody mess on the floor.)

Lou Cepher: Good night…

(He leaves the room.)

At that same time…

(Invisible Ones Headquarters.)

Charlotte: (grips her heart. Her eyes widen.)

Ziana: (grips her arm) You are having a vision----?

Charlotte: I see…darkness…death…

(There is a disturbance in the other room.)

Bryan: (screaming) CHARLOTTE! THEY’ VE FOUND US!!!!

Miki: They’re not taking us alive…!

Outside the headquarters a swarm of New Babylon soldiers surround the apartment building. They are armed with weapons.)

Sasha: If we die here today…we will die fighting…!

Kirsty: Is this how this ends?

(Maika peeks out of the window.)

Maika: The Humanoid King is with them…

(Down below Bill grabs an ak-47 from a soldier. He then gets a bullhorn.)

Bill: I want Ziana…now…! And then…you will all be executed for distrupting order in New Babylon…

(Charlotte and Ziana come out of the room.)

Ziana: He doesn’t know what he speaks! He’s human…

Charlotte: He’s accepting a false life…I sense his heart…or lack there of…has been darkened…He wants to kill us…

Ziana: I’ll go…and convince him to stop----

(Ziana runs out of the apartment and down to Bill, the Invisible Ones watch as they see Ziana talking to Bill.)

(Bill simply shakes his head no. He looks at his soldiers…and then points at the apartment.)

Bill: Get them! Bring them to me!

(Soldiers swarm the stairs. The invisible Ones cock their weapons.)

Charlotte: (gets on her knees) Oh Illuminated One…please help us…

(The door flies open. Gunshots blare off.)

Meanwhile…

(Aerieus works on the little girl…The little girl opens her eyes slightly…and grabs Aerieus arms. She moves her mouth)

Aerieus: I…I can’t hear you…

(The little girl keeps moving her mouth, a tiny sounds comes out.)

Aerieus: I…still can’t hear---

Little Girl: (whispers) You must carry on the work of the Kingdom…

Aerieus: What?

Little Girl: The work of the Kingdom…

Aerieus: What Kingdom?

(A bright light forms around the little girl.)

(Aerieus shields her eyes)

(When the light fades the little girl’s body is gone.)

Aerieus: (Panicks) Where are you? Where did you go!?

(Byron bursts in.)

Byron: Where is she? Where is my neice?

Aerieus: I don’t know! She disappeared!

Byron: (grabs Aerieus by the shoulders and shakes her) Did she say anything---?

Aerieus: She kept saying…that I must carry on the work for the Kingdom…

(Byron’s eyes open.)

Byron: You? Why you? You’re….you’re evil----

Aerieus: I don’t understand…

Byron: Did she touch you?

Aerieus: Uh, uh…she grabbed my arms---

(Byron grabs her arms and looks at them. On her left arm…there was this strange marking. It was the sign of the postage stamp, there was intricate designs on it. Byron’s eyes opens.)

Byron: Why? I can’t believe it…

(Aerieus stares at the marking.)

Aerieus: What is this? (She tries to wipe it off.)

Byron: (collaspses to his knees weeping.) Will He forgive anyone…? Even evil---?

Aerieus: What is going on Byron…?

Byron: You have been sealed…

Aerieus: “Sealed?”

Byron: That marking…We must go---

(He lifts his shirt revealing the same marking over his right breast.)

(He grabs Aerieus by her arms, and drags her out of the room.)

Byron: We haven’t much time---we must go---!

(The Humanoid Bill body lies on a couch. Aerieus breaks free from Byron and rushes to the body.)

Aerieus: (Weeping) But Bill---

(Byron grabs her.)

Byron: We must go---!?

Aerieus: Why?

Byron: You must continue the work for the Kingdom!

Aerieus: I have to save him---I promised----

Byron: That isn’t the primary concern! Come! He’s merely a robot---

(Aerieus screaming and crying as she was ripped away from the Humanoid Bill.)

Aerieus: The heart! The heart!

(Byron throws her in the SUV. He gets into the drivers side and they speed off.)

(The angel Logan stands in the doorway of the building. A stoic look is on his face.)

Logan: And so…it begins…

At that same time…

(Angels Anaya and Xavier stand before the lifeless bodies of Tom, Georg and Gustav.)

Anaya: Will life always be this way…ending?

Xavier: Yes…Michael should be here soon…
(Michael appears he looks at the bodies.)

Anaya: Will you take them?

Michael: (He kneels besides the three bodies) No…

Xavier: But why not? Aren’t they dead?

(Michael points to a marking on Tom’s neck.)

Michael: He’s been sealed…I can’t take him---not now…

(He then examines Georg…near his wrist was the same marking.)

Michael: He is also sealed---

(He then looks at Gustav.)

Michael: He is not sealed---

Anaya: Then…he must go---

Michael: (stands up) The others will show him the way…He will stay…

(Michael then stretches out his hands. A huge light drowns out the whole room.)

At that same time...

(Phoenix lay in the bed, screaming...doctors surrounded her.)

Doctor: Push Phoenix! Push!

(Phoenix screams.)

(The sounds of a crying baby is soon heard.)

(Doctor grabs the baby and hands it to Phoenix. The baby was a powdered white...with sea-green colored eyes. He stared at Phoenix.)

Phoenix: What is your purpose...monster?

(The baby smiles slightly.)

(On his tiny hand was a marking.)
