Guilty pleasure

Ally looked around the woods. She could hear a soft thumping of a heart not too far from where she was. She smiled and ran behind the tree where her pray hid. She slowly turned her head to see what she would be having for dinner today. She quickly felt disappointed when she saw a small white rabbit in front of her. She hated herself for not going with her older brother hunting like he had asked her. She picked up the rabbit. It instantly started to scratch at her wrist out of fear. She cursed and dropped the rabbit.
"Having trouble hunting?" Came a deep smooth voice. Eli quickly spun around to look at who was talking to her.
She narrowed her eyes and stood straight to show the tall figure she wasn't scared.
"Don't worry, I mean no harm."
Ally hated herself for feeling scared. Her brothers voice played the many times he had warned her about girls hunting alone at night. But of course she hated when people degraded her because she was a girl. She knew she was able to do things boy could. Maybe even better.
"who said I was scared?" Ally felt like slapping herself. Her voice had failed her. It had come week and you could easily tell she was scared to death. The figure laughed quietly. If she had been scared before now she was terrified. The figure was looking for something in his pockets. Ally prepared herself to attack encase the figure was too. She saw he pulled out a lighter. He flicked it on. Now in the dim light she could make out his features. He was really pale with dark shaggy hair. She secretly wished the light would be brighter for her to have a closer look at him.
"I'm not a liar I said I wasn't here to harm you. I just thought it was really amusing watching you." He grinned showing off perfect white teeth.
"Well I don't like to be laughed at." she sneered.
