Forbidden Sunrise

Gerard's P.O.V
I was perched silently in the trees. Listening to the sounds of twilight.
I didn't want to be at home when my Father was in his depression moods. Remembering his one true love, Lilian Damon.
I grimaced how could one of the most powerful vampires in New Jersey fall for something so fragile, so breakable?
Was love really that infinite?
Does love really go beyond the borders of life and death?
How could he love food?
It was wrong. If a man fell in love with salmon, it'll be okay for a while, if he gets hungry he'll eat the the salmon. That's how wrong it was.
Love is stupid. No one will ever love a monster.
I was born a monster and a monster I will be for all eternity!!
But there was one thing I remember on that dark day of Lilian Damon's death
The Little girl and her eyes.
I never seen so much fear in one's eyes before.
Her green eyes were very clear and you can see right through them and all I saw was fear.
My stomach felt queezy and I didn't feel like hunting anymore.
Instead a new face popped in my mind. Rowen
Her pale face, her pinkish lips curving into a smile, her dark green eyes.
Her pale neck, my sharp white teeth bitting down..
NO!!!
I clenched my teeth.
How dare I think that!!
I inhaled. One thing's for sure I was monster, a monster that was alone in this world.
No one can feel my pain.
"Except for Rowen" I muttered to myself.
Saying her name brought ripples through my spine that I couldn't explain.
I knew she felt alone like me, though she isn't a monster.
I smiled. Maybe..maybe I wasn't alone after all.

I needed to see her.
but I can't for I didn't know where she lived.
A frown crept on my face.
but it went as fast as it came.
Maybe I'll see her again tomorrow.
I smiled and jumped down and ran home.
Excited to see her again.

Rowen's P.O.V
"OH MY GOD!!" I gasped another nightmare.
"Rowen? Y'okay?" Alec, asked groggily.
I nooded. "Yea. Just another nightmare."
"Y'need anything Row?"
" 'S fine. I don't need anything"
"You sure?"
"Yea. Positive."
"Okay then" Alec went back to his room.
I exhaled and plopped down on my bed.
I took my phone and dialed Kazaf.
If your asking why, he was my only real friend.
Pathetic right? but Kazaf was a good friend.
"nǐ hǎo?" A groggily voice answered [That means "Hello"]
"Ow. Kazaf sorry if I woke y--"
"Gotcha!! Anyway.. I'm not here right now. So please leave a message after the beep. zài jiàn
!!" BEEEEEPP His english accent mad him hear like he isn't Chinese ["zài jiàn" means "bye-bye"]
I sighed. "Hey Kazaf it's me.. uhh.. Rowen... Just wanted to uhh say uh Hi! well call me if you get this kay??" I snapped my phone shut.

Well I was awake now. No use getting back to bed.
So I stood up and walked down stairs to the kitchen.
I opened the fridge and grabbed the Orange Juice Carton and chugged it down.
I snapped my head to the wall clock. 5:30am
"What the hell?" I groaned in frustration.
I put the carton back in the fridge and went upstairs and got dressed.
I decided to go out.
"Be Careful" A small tired voice said
I smiled. "Okay Alec"
When I was done I grabbed my Jacket and shoes.
and went down stairs to the front door.
I walked to the park where Gerard and me went last time.
Speaking of, I saw Gerard standing there as well.
"Hey," He said.
I smiled. "What are you doing here?"
"Couldn't sleep. What are you doing here?"
I shrugged. "Couldn't sleep too."
He smiled that crooked smile again as he stared at me.
"What?" I asked self-conscious
He chuckled "Nothing. It's just that.. well.. have you ever felt alone?"
I blinked, "Yeah. I always did. Well not physically alone but mentally. Y' know?"
He nodded. "I feel the the same way. Like no one can ever understand you."
"Yeah. Exactly."
He smiled.
"And your just bound up to die alone." We both said at the same time.
I looked at him and he was staring at me as well.
"D-do you feel alone now?" I asked.
"No. Not when I'm with you."
