A sigh of relieve escaped her mouth, the code to the safe was correct. After arranging a funeral and pretending to be sad and all she deserved the money more than anyone. That’s what she thought at least. When she opened the safe there was nothing more but a white envelope. Inside was a letter.
Dear Rosalie,
Congratulations, you won. But you wouldn’t think I was that blind, would you? By the time you read this you have nothing more but an empty house. I gave Abby custody over Emma, I think that’s something you don’t mind.
I want you to know that there’s only one woman I could possibly love and that woman is/was Christina. You didn’t even got close, though you are beautiful. But she gave me something that is priceless. Emma. And since she’s my only child, I left her all the money.
