In a Heartbeat

"I never even wanted to be this... this monster!"

Lucious took a step back. He didn't expect her to explode like this. Tears had begun to pour furiously down her face and her voice rose as she screamed at him.

"I HATE YOU FOR DOING THIS TO ME!" Eleanore screamed at the top of her lungs. She fell to her knees, sobbing uncontrollably. "How could you do this to me?" she whimpered pathetically, curling herself into a ball, hugging her knees to her chest.

Lucious' lifeless heart throbbed painfully at the pitiful sight before him. He took a step forward, wanting to comfort her.

"Ella, love," he cooed softly, kneeling down in front of her shaking form. "Please, do not hate me." He pulled her to him, cradling her in his arms. "Please," he pleaded, his own tears sliding down his cheeks. "You are the only reason I am still here."

A/N;;This is just a short story. It'll be only a few chapters long. Just a little info, Eleanore has a heart condition and she's been informed that she'll die soon. Lucious is a vampire who has a deal to make with her.
