Kiss of the Vampire.
Mind Tricks.
I was glad to be out of the hospital finally. The hospital food, have you ever tried it? Disgusting. Made me want to vomit. "You OK." Travis wrapped his hands around me as I came downstairs.
"Hah, Yeah I'm fine. We've covered this." I laughed.
"I'm just glad, that's all." He smiled.
"I know. I know." I shook my head laughing to myself.
"Well, I gotta go." Travis hugged me one last time. Damn, that boy sure loved hugs eh?
"Bye," I rolled my eyes laughing. Walking over to the fridge I pulled out a coke, When I closed the fridge Damon was right there. "HUH!?"I dropped my coke. "Oh my god. Damon? You scared me." I put my hand over my chest. Why was he in my house?
"Sorry." He said slowly.
"How did you get in?" I knelt down picking up my almost exploded coke.
"Door was unlocked. I came in as some blond walked out." He looked around the room. How did he even know this was my house?
"Oh, well. I guess the question is why are you even here." I laughed.
"I wanted to make sure. You were OK." He walked over to the window. He acted like something was wrong.
"W-whats wrong?"I stood up.
He quickly looked over to me. "Nothing."
"Damon," I crossed my arms. "Why are you really here?" I glared at his beautiful face.
"I-I told you I just wanted to make sure your safe."
"Me? Safe? You? Care? Why?" I couldn't speak right. "Damon why are you suddenly talking to me. I mean we never talked before."
"Thora, I just..." He shook his head. "I have to go." He went to the door.
"Damon!" I yelled grabbing his hand. "Oh my god." He stopped looking at my expression. His hand was still freezing. "Y-your hand, it's still freezing." I let him go. He stood there looking at the ground for a moment. The just walked out. "Damon," I whispered.
*XoXoX*
"Thora, You awake?" Dave walked in my room.
"Hm," I looked over at him. "Yeah I'm awake."
"OK. I have to run somewhere, Just got a call." He turned the light back off.
"Huh, OK." I sighed.] as he left. One thing about having your dad as the Sheriff, he has to leave lat at night if there's a crime scene. I lay in ed the rest of the night wondering what happened. Finally falling asleep around midnight.
The next morning I woke up walking downstairs. I hate Sunday mornings. I just couldn't get back to sleep. I kept having a feeling someone was going to die. Worse probably be killed, and I didn't know when. I had been reading apparently I'm Physic or something. I can dream something while it's happening, or before.
"I'm going to bed." Dave walked inside.
"You were out late" I sat on the couch.
"Yeah, it was bad. Car accident." He sighed taking off his coat.
"Ah." I lay down.
"I'm off to bed." He left me there in the living room. I kept picturing Damon. How the fuck did he know where I lived? I kept feeling like someone was watching me. "Ah!" I jumped at a knock on the door.
"Hey,"Jane smiled.
"Oh, hey Jane." I sighed.
"Um, can I come in?"
"Sure." I let her in. "What's wrong?" I asked sitting on the couch.
"O-oh nothing. I just came to give you these books." She reached in her bag. "Here." She handed them to me.
"Why would I need these?" I laughed.
"Oh, my mom told me to give them to you, so you could give them to your dad." She giggled.
"Oh well, thanks."I laughed.
"Yeah. So, what happened...That night?"She said quietly.
"Huh, lets just say Damon saved my life." I sighed.
"Sorry for bringing it up." She shrugged,
"Oh, it's fine. I just. Don't know why he saved me." I shook my head.
"It's shocking I know. But, I don't know."Jane shrugged again.
"Yeah, very." I smiled.
"Well, I'll talk to you latter." She smiled. "Have to go help cook dinner at home." She smiled.
"Well OK."
"Maybe, can I come over latter?" She looked at me as she opened the door.
"Sure." I smiled.
"OK." She walked out the door. I looked out before closing it and spotted Damon.
"HUH?" I looked again, he was gone. "My imagination," I said to myself. My mind was playing tricks on me.
