Baby I'm Amazed by You

“Hey!!! You guys really should get a room! This is a public beach; there are little kids all around you! You know your parents wouldn’t be that proud of you to see you like this!” I yelled toward their direction. I was really only just messing around, but it was pretty funny! I couldn’t wait to see their reaction to this. I smiled over at Nick before he pulled me close again in his arms.

They pulled away from each other and started looking around. Joe spotted us first and began to yell something back, “Why don’t you two get a room? We aren’t even half as bad as you two are together! Well, maybe we are, but…still! Get a room, you know there are little kids here too!” he smiled, mimicking us. Nick and I couldn’t help but burst out laughing, as we started making our way toward them.

“Thanks! You guys are super nice!” Bridget smiled, trying to act all tough and mighty, just like Joe. “Thank you. I know we are!” I smiled, agreeing with the comment she made. I felt Nick slip his arms around my waist, shivers going down my spine from his touch as he pulled me back against his chest.

We found a spot a few feet from where Joe and Bridget were and laid out a towel, before dropping our bag on to it. Nick grabbed my hand and pulled me down with him. He pulled me on to his lap and tightened his arms around me. “So, what took you guys so long to get down here?” Bridget asked, looking over at us. “We got a bit side tracked…” I said, looking up at Nick as I felt him kiss my cheek lightly.

“Right…sure you did,” she smiled. I couldn’t help but crack a small smile. I smiled to myself as I felt Nick kiss my neck lightly. “Nick, do you think you could help me with sunscreen?” I asked as I reached over and pulled it out of the bag. He nodded and took it out of my hands before he started to rub it in all over my back and shoulders. Once he was done with that, he handed the bottle back to me.

I put some on my hand before I started to rub it all in over his back and shoulders. Once we finished up with that, he grabbed my hand and pulled me up with him. He pulled me close and tightened his arms around my waist, and leaned down toward my lips, kissing me lovingly. I groaned softly against his lips and pull him closer, deepening the kiss.

We both pull away a few minutes later. He grabbed my hand and laced our fingers together. We took a running start down toward the water. He let go of my hand and chased me right in to the water. I felt him put his arms around my waist and pick me up once we made it down to the water. I smiled as he picked me up and pulled me close in his arms. I smile and wrap my arms around his neck. It was like a scene out of a Nicholas Sparks novel.

I smiled as he leaned in and kissed me softly. I kissed him back. We both pull away a few minutes later. I jumped in to the water and tried to get away from Nick, making him come after me. I felt him grab me from behind and pull me down under the water. I held on to his shoulders to keep myself from going under, locking my legs around his waist. He smiled before kissing me. I put my hands through his wet curly locks as I kiss him back and move my hand up to rest on his neck, deepening it.

We both pull away breathless a few minutes later. He grabs my hand and laces his fingers together with mine as he pulls me behind him, going back up on to the sand. I smiled as he pulled me down on to his lap as he sat back down on the towel. He smiled before leaning in toward my lips once more. “I-I love you,” I whisper against his lips. “Love you too,” he whispers back and leans in. I attach my lips on his and slowly kiss him back, deepening it. After a few more hours of hanging out at the beach, along with Joe and Bridget, we all headed back to the hotel and crashed in our rooms because we were so tired.

A couple hours later, I open my eyes and struggle to get out of Nick's tight grip so I could take a quick shower to rinse myself off from being down at the beach most of the day. I went over and grabbed my pajamas from my bag and noticed the time; it was already 10:20pm. The day seemed to have just flown by. After I took my shower and completely rinsed my body off, I got out and dried myself off before putting on my underwear and slipping in to my pajama shorts and tank top. Once I finished up in the bathroom, I walked out and let the steam out of the room.

I looked over and noticed Nick had changed in to a clean pair of boxers. I smiled as I went over and turned the lights off before making my way over toward Nick who was sitting up and smiling over at me. "Mm, hi baby," he smiles and pecks my cheek before pulling me closer. After we both pulled away, I snuggled close in to his bare chest as he pulled me even closer. “I-I’m tired,” I said against his chest. “Go to sleep then, love you,” he kisses my forehead before intertwining our legs together as I drifted off to sleep in his arms.
