Scooter Boy

The cold January wind blew past us as we walked down the street. Beside me were two of my best friends, Carly and Ellis, and we were having a sleepover. It being the weekend, we thought it would be fun to go to Ellis' house and then walk to downtown. After the three of us were going to spend the night at Carly's house. Personally, I had no idea where we were going, since I lived on the other side of the lake. But Carly and Ellis seemed to know where we were going, so I trusted them not to get us lost. After what felt like forever, we rounded the corner onto main street. For still being winter, it was a gorgeous day out. The sun way shining brightly, contradicting the frigid wind. All the same, the bright sun and cloudless sky foreshadowed a great day.
