Chemicals Collide

I looked up at Conner, then over my shoulder to see Simon talking to Taleah. I wasn't watching where I was going and next thing I knew Conner had pulled me around into a gap in the lockers and pressed his mouth against mine, I was so shocked that I didn't know what to do. When Conner pulled away he looked me in the eyes,
"God, you don't know how long I have wanted to do that Bue." he said and smiled, I was still stunned and just looked at him, "Um... Bue? fuck, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that, I just sorta thought..." his words where lost as I threw my arms around his neck and kissed him on the mouth. I pressed myself up against him and he backed into the locker behind him. When we finally pulled away he was smiling,
"Is that all you wanted to talk about?" I asked, Conner laughed,
"Always one for sarcasm aren’t you Bue?" he took my hand and I just realized what had happened, I was now dating Conner, and I knew he was mine. We walked down the hall and into music. Ms. Matthews was waiting beside the door as we all walked into class. I went and sat with Conner and his friends this lesson, usually I would sit by myself in music, it was one of the two classes I had without Simon. The boys Conner sat with where alright. I recognised a few of Michael's friends amongst Conner's, and I couldn't help wondering about Simon. Towards the end of the lesson Ms. Matthews had to leave for a Staff meeting. All the year 12 teachers had a meeting, so the classes where left for the last few minutes. Conner moved his chair over next to me and sat with his arm around my waist. I noticed some of the other boys looking at me, the boys that where looking where Michael's friends and I just looked at the floor.
"So how is Simon holding up?" one of the boys asked finally, I think his name was Luke. I looked up and I saw Conner kick Luke quickly,
"He is fine, much better without the bitch baggage." I said plainly, Luke and three others just stared at me.
