This is the sequel for "Love At First Fright"
(Warning! Spoilers below if you haven't read the first story yet.)
In love at first fright we met Ashley Whitlock, respected high-ranking member of the Volturi gaurd. She saw Aro as a father figure, having been with him since her transformation in Volterra. Ashley was sent to check on the status of Bella Swan's transformation, and to do a full report for Aro if such a transformation had not been performed.
Upon arriving in Forks, Washington and meeting up with the Cullen's, Ashley was reunited with her husband from her human life, none other than Jasper Whitlock, now going by Jasper "Hale" and dating one of the Cullen's.
Jasper and Ashley's love was quick to spark back up and the two enjoyed a second wedding after Ashley left the Volturi with a bitter taste in thier mouths.
This story continues from the end of "Love At First Fright" after Jasper kills there daughter... not knowing at the time just who she was.
The Volturi feel betrayed, and they will not allow for the events in "Love At First Fright" to go by unpunished.
