Meeting the Sun.

He was going to die, he told me. He was no longer content with his place in the world. Nothing followed but death and sorrow. He had done terrible things.

"To children, just like you" he told me.

So I did all I could think to do at that moment, as I sat, half terrified, half in awe.

I offered him redemption.
