Its Simple: They're Meant To Be : Hollyoaks FF (Newt & Teens)

Episode 2 :) x

She stood over a cowering Chelsie. Looking down on the wound. Rae knew she deserved this. Chelsie had swanned into everyone’s lives out of nowhere and stolen the one person who mattered the most to her. She hated Chelsie so much. Newt should be with her. Not this hippy chick.
Rae could see Chelsie's arm bleeding from the stab wound but yet Rae still didn't feel this was enough pain for Chelsie. She needed to know the true pain she was feeling inside without Newt as her own. The sudden urge came for Rae to kick Chelsie. So she did, over and over. Until the pain got too much for Chelsie and Chelsie was sick on the dirty pavement. Shaking her head Rae pulled Chelsie to her feet, and into the doorway.
"You tell Newt I did this, you’re going to wish it as just your wrist I stabbed.” Rae said glaring. She gave Chelsie one final shove and ran into the darkness.
Chelsie was unsure how to explain to Newt how his white Papa Roach hoodie was now stained deeply in her blood, without getting herself put on life support. Chelsie was fed up of this, all she had ever done was love the guy, and now she was bleeding intensely because of that!

Newt never woke up within half an hour of his alarm going off on a school morning. Practically every morning he would only emerge from his pit when Frankie was practically tugging on his ear to get him up and even then he would only be semi-ready for school. Frankie was just about to start the routine of yelling, screaming, chucking water and shaking Newt to death when he walked into the kitchen fully dressed. Frankie was taken aback by the unusual sight.
"Morning Frankie" Newt said with a heart warming grin, which also was unfamiliar to Frankie at this hour.
Fluffing his hair Frankie eyed up her foster son.
"Morning, and to what girl do we owe this honour?"
And right on cue Steph walked in looking for Tom's lunchbox.
"Morning Newt. You’re showing that singing girl around today aren’t you?" Steph asked, grinning. Newt just blushed.
"Oh... so it's that new Hayton girl! Ahhh!" Frankie said. Newt hated this side of Frankie's parenting. She always made a fuss of his & Jake's love-lives, which really made Newt feel smothered.
"Look she's just a girl Frankie. If I don't get there on time, Nancy will come down hard on me. So I thought getting up early so I can start school on time would work out best." Newts smile had now melted into an embarrassed frown.
"Oh. Well have a nice time showing her about. And feel free to bring her home for a spot of dinner later, she probably could do with more friendly faces. And we don't bite."
Steph saw the uncertainty in Newts eyes, and ushered Frankie into the living room to see Tom's new school shoes.
Newt finished up in the kitchen, popped his famous lip ring in, gave himself the once over in the mirror and then walked out the door and to Hollyoaks High School which unlike last night looked dead. He walked in the doors into the English corridor, where his locker was. He sorted out which stuff he needed and then put the rest of the textbooks pens and other stuff in the locker. He noticed the photograph of him & his volatile ex girlfriend Rae still stuck on the locker. Rolling his eyes he tore the photo down and put it in the bin that was near his locker. He really didn't want to ever relive the moments of phsyco-girlfriend. She messed his head over in so many ways that he could never trust her again. Before Newt could even begin to think of Rae, Chelsie and Nancy walked towards him. Chelsie flashed him the same smile that had melted him last night. Newt couldn't help but smile. She looked stunning; her blonde curls where scraped back into a simple pony tail, she had hardly any makeup on, and her clothes didn’t seem too fussed over unlike most girls at school. Yet with the little eye makeup she had on, Newt noticed that her oceanic blue eyes stood out a lot more today. And it was almost as if they had an extra pot of glitter added to them, as they seemed to sparkle a whole lot more than they did last night.
"Newt, Chelsie's only got English and Psychology today, and she's in your class for both. So I can trust her to look after her during your free periods today, yes? And also when Frankie picked up Charlie from me earlier she mentioned you had suggested you and Chelsie study after school together today, and Frankie offered to cook for you both. So I'll come and pick Chelsie and Charlie up at 7, Okay?"
"Great" Newt thought. Frankie had muzzled her way into another relationship. He knew she meant well. But what part of being independent did she not understand?
Before Newt had really had a chance to speak Nancy dashed off to go to the staff meeting.
"Thanks Newt. I really appreciate you being kind and, well, helping me get settled here. You’re really sweet." Chelsie said coyly, and gave Newt a hug. Newt put his arms around her, but couldn't hold onto her for too long as he got the most overpowering butterflies ever, and he didn’t want her to think he had developed a crush on her already. He pulled away, and then directed her to the class they were about to have. They sat outside the door and talked about the book they had to study this term. It turned out Chelsie also liked Charles Dickins’ gothic poetry. It was only really Lauren who got into the poems the way Newt did.
The rest of the class began to arrive in dribs and drabs. It was evident that Newt wasn't the only guy who found Chelsie attractive, as Gaz nodded Newt into a corner and asked him if he could get Chelsie's number for him. The other chavvy boys whistled when Chelsie stood up. Chelsie just blushed. If only they could see she hadn't eyes for them, and that she had already started falling for Newt. It was his kind soul that captured her heart instantly, not these mindless yobs. Soon the class was ushered in and Newt showed Chelsie where they would sit: left hand side, second row back. Not at the font as Newt hated being classed as a nerd, but close to the teacher, just in case his mind got jumbled and to the very left so he wasn’t part of the rabble who sat in the centre of the class. As Newt went to the front of the class to hand in a paper Chelsie gazed at the way he walked.
Chelsie grabbed out her notebook, in which she wrote simple lines that later helped her write songs, and wrote "It's weird, like love at first sight, yet I know it’s far too soon to love him. Those handsome brown eyes and plump soft lips mesmerise me. But I’m just the new girl, I’m never going to be right for him" and with that she drew a broken heart. Chelsie saw Newt coming back over to the desk, noticed him smiling at her, and realised he was bound to notice the notepad and ask questions, so she stuffed it in her bag and got out her best pen and English book.
The lesson went smoothly. Newt helped Chelsie catch onto a few class basics, like where to write the date, and a few people’s names. They both loved the attention they gave each other, and Newt almost felt disappointed when the bell went, even though it meant he had 3 hours to kill before the next class.. Newt suggested they went to sit on the roof of the school, as it was Newts favourite place to be and he loved helping Chelsie climb on top of it. She looked adorable when she was all un-stable on her feet. And he couldn't help but feel proud when she got onto the roof. ‘This girl really is amazing’ he thought.
