Still Frames In My Mind
"Rudie Can't Fail" by the Clash
June 14, 2008 was the best day of my life. I graduated high school that day. Four years of mind numbingly dumb classes and kick assholes paid off and I could actually do something with my life.
Tyler had jacked a ticket to the event from a mutual friend. Despite his being all the way in the back, I could still see his ink black spikes from where I was sitting on the church stage. When my name was called he let out a deafening "WOO," even though you weren't suposed to.
Later, he told me about puking all over the floor because he had drank too much the night before. "Dude, I was like cryin' and stuff, but hocking up Jose Cuervo AT THE SAME TIME!"
He was very proud.
