In Dayton, Ohio, nobodies system is clean, and the CSI works overtime. Once you're in that city, there is no real way out. Kaelea is your typical girl from Dayton. At 16 years old, she is everything no mother wants their daughter to be. A drop out. A drug addict. A criminal. A party girl.

She's came face-to-face with a lot of challenges, but could the life changing ones be the ones that tear her down the most?

Will Kaelea ever learn how to deal with her past, and learn how to get a grip on reality?
