Kate Wind is depressed over her family, a druggie mom on her way to jail, dead father, and ten year old brother, Jake. When her mom finally gets sent to the big house Kate is left to care for her brother. Kate gets a big surprise when they have to move in with a foster family. Learning to cope with three other hormonal teens and four bratty kids send Kate over the edge.
