The Exchange Student

I'd love to go to America.

When I tell people this, they ask me:

Why? It's not like it's any different than England anyways.

True, but just the thought of being in America makes me excited.

Or, rather, the thought of being out of dreary England makes me excited.

When my school setted up an exchange program to go to America, I was the first one to sign up.

But, I knew nothing of what a life I'd live in America could be so exciting.

Thanks to my host family, of course.
