Returning to You

Jessica’s POV

I smiled as Brian woke me with a kiss, I looked into his eyes and saw the love for me there and it warmed me like nothing else could
“morning Jess” he said and I smiled before speaking
“good morning to you too” Brian grinned before asking hesitantly
“you don’t regret taking me back right?” I shook my head
“no, of course not” Brian grinned and swooped in to kiss me
“good, the girls are here by the way” I giggled then looked at him confused
“why?” Brian grinned
“it seems they planned a baby shower” I groaned as I sat up with a grunt and Brian’s help. Running a hand through my hair I glared at the door
“did it have to be today?” Brian chuckled
“it had to be soon honey, you’re gonna pop soon” I glared at him
“don’t say that! I’m not ready” Brian chuckled again shaking his head before he gave me another kiss and stood up, I noticed he was fully clothed, and smiled down at me
“I’m going to hang with the guys for the day, call me when it’s safe” I pouted
“coward” I called him and he smiled
“definitely” he waved as he headed out the door and left me to go and shower by myself.
Once I was ready I walked downstairs into the living room to find all the girls sitting around with tons of balloons and presents around. Seeing me they exclaimed
“congratulations!” I laughed as I walked in and gingerly lowered myself into a seat
“aww thanks guys but you didn’t have to” Hannah snorted
“sure we didn’t, you know I do know you” I giggled
“yeah”
“so I know you like presents, now open some” I laughed as I was handed presents and told to open them while eating some of the food they had brought.
I ended up with a load of clothes and bottles and toys etc, I grinned at the little engraved rattle that Lacey gave me which had a deathbat engraved on it with some other designs, apparently Johnny had designed it which surprised me but I told her to thank him for me.
I grinned and thanked them all before we got to talking about Baby
“you know this baby is gonna be hot” Leana observed
“what do you mean?” I asked, cocking my head. Leana shrugged
“I mean it is gonna be hot when it grows up I mean look at Brian, he is one hot guy and then there’s you as well, you rock babe even pregnant you look fantastic” I laughed with the rest of the girls
“thanks Leana, I feel better” Leana grinned
“my pleasure” I shook my head chuckling and we moved on with the topic.
Inevitably the conversation turned to the guys and they all talked about how happy they were. Lacey looked over at me and asked curiously
“how are things with Brian?” I sighed as they all leaned closer which amused me
“well, Brian and I are kind of back together” I explained hesitantly and watched as each of the girls grinned and squealed
“thank god!”Leana exclaimed
“finally” Lacey smiled
“damn time woman” Val laughed
“knew it” Hannah stated with a wide grin. I nudged her and she shrugged “what? It was going to happen soon, you guys are made for one another” I smiled
“thank you” Hannah grinned and hugged me before asking
“where is the Vodka? We need a toast” I looked at her sternly and she rolled her eyes “urgh ok where is the completely healthy pulpy orange juice?” I laughed and pointed towards the kitchen, Hannah jumped up and went to get glasses and such while I spoke with the girls and laughed.
