Don't Fall Unless Someone Is Willing To Catch You
Chapter 3
I could feel it and it was high. There was definitely more than one. All this spiritual pressure was tons and tons of hollows heading my way. My legs automatically started carrying me towards Ichigo. When I got to where he was at I just grab his collar while I was running and dragged me with him. He started kicking and shouting. Once we were out of view, and earshot, I dropped him. I started searching for soul candy. Where did I put it?
“Can you tell me what the hell is going on here?!” Ichigo yelled, standing up.
“Shit! Where is it?!?” I screamed, finally feeling it in my jacket pocket. I looked up at Ichigo, my face creased with worry. “Hollows. They’re everywhere! Can’t you feel it? They just keep coming and coming, and they are coming in our direction. You need to go back to your house and get your soul candy from Kon. I will go ahead and try to fight off some.” He just stared at me, his eyebrows knitted together. “Go! We need to hurry.” I popped in the soul candy and sent it back to Ichigo’s house. I headed in the direction of the hollows.
I kept my hand on the hilt of my sword, Bikkuri. The guard of my sword was in the form of a thick lightning bolt. It was long and thin, but that didn’t mean I didn’t have any spiritual pressure.
The whole time I was running toward hollows Bikkuri was hitting against my leg. I couldn’t wait to take Bikkuri out and ripping through all the hollows. I was one of the types that loved fighting no matter who it was. Now I wouldn’t literally kill an ally, but I’d put up a good fight. To tell the truth, my anxiousness of fighting overcomes my worry. As I kept thinking about this, more and more adrenaline pumped into me. Though when I arrived where all the hollows had gathered my fearlessness plummeted. There were way more than I was expecting. I could tell there was still more coming.
“What’d I miss?” Ichigo’s voice filtered through the air. He looked at what I was gazing at and he had the same reaction as me.
“There is no way we can kill all those on our own. There are more than fifty!” I yelled, and unsheathed Bikkuri. “C’mon. They are going to attack. Get ready!” He unsheathed Zangetsu. I took a deep breath. “Ready?” He nodded. We both charged at the hollows, slashing off each one easily. It was all easy until we got to the harder ones. When we got to the hardest kinds of hollows, I released my command.
“Scream, Bikkuri!” I turned towards Ichigo just in time. “Ichigo, cover your ears!” Quickly, he slapped his hands over his ears. Unfortunately, my zanpakuto is a little strange with its Shikai. When I say my release command, scream, this high-pitched sound sweeps out over the entire area. It goes through your ears, making them bleed so you can’t hear anything. Therefore, when your ears start to bleed you immediately cover your ears as an instinct. The opponent will be in tremendous pain so will be oblivious to the things around it. They will be too transfixed on their ears to notice what’s coming. So that gives me the chance to slaughter the whole herd. I’ve been told that my zanpakuto and I are very unique in a way. My zanpakuto, Bikkuri, has to do with the five senses. Touch, see, smell, hear, and taste. My first has to do with the sense hear. I don’t have to use all of them in an order then stop. I can use whatever one I want. But there is a limit. Since there are only five senses then that means I am only allowed to use any one of my commands five times. My limit is five strikes then I’m out. So now instead of using any of my other commands, I slaughtered the ones in my paralyzed state.
As I returned my zanpakuto to my side all the hollows’ blood splattered over the ground. There was something about that blood that made me lean closer, examining it. It was slightly darker than the usual blood that flows through human and soul reaper’s bodies.
“Hey, Ichigo, are you done? I need you over here . . . maybe.” After he didn’t come for about three minutes I looked back at him. He was standing in front of man. There was a helmet-looking thing on his left side of his head. I ran towards Ichigo and stopped abruptly right beside him. I glanced at Ichigo who seemed to be tense. Then I glared at the black haired man. “Who the hell are you?”
Nothing seemed to move except for his eyes. They shifted from Ichigo to me. “Ulquiorra Schiffer, cuatro espada.”
My eyes widened and I looked over at Ichigo. “I can’t fight him. His spiritual pressure is off the charts. Neither of us can take him. It’s just too hard. We need Urahara to--”
“You are coming with me,” Ulquiorra said monotonously.
My eyes shot over to where he stood and realized he was no longer there. I closed my eyes. Wind. Wait for the wind. There was a breeze behind my head and I swung around and blocked Ulquiorra with Bikkuri.
“Why do you want me? I have no business with you,” I growled, baring my teeth.
He quickly disappeared, leaving my sight before I could even blink. What? Where’d he go? I spun around quickly. “Ichi--” My stomach got jerked back like I was just hit there with a baseball bat. I couldn’t touch the ground and my sight was indistinct. I knew I had a few minutes before I would completely lose consciousness. I tried my hardest to pay attention to what was happening around me.
“Put her down! I will not let her come with you!” A determined voice boomed, making my head pound to an extent. I tried to grip my head, but my arms, including my body, felt like jell-o.
“You’re just a piece of trash. There is no use of you.” The last thing I heard was Ulquiorra muttering a word and a thud. Then I was out.

Sorry this is kind of short. The next chapter makes up for it.
