Last Night On Earth

(Billie's POV)
I heard a noise above me and looked up. Standing there was Mike. He looked down at me with a miserable face.
"What's up?"
"You. Just look at you." He snarled.
"What's that supposed to mean?" What the fuck was wrong with him?
"You're just sat there. You look like a fucking depressed fag." He spat. What was going on? Why was he so angry with me?
"Whats wrong with you?! Why are you being mean to me?"
"Being mean?! How old are you Billie? Stop moaning and get home."
"I dont want to go home with you while you're being a dick." I looked at the ground again. After about 3 seconds, I felt his hands grab me and his arms wrapped around me.
"What are you going to do? Drag me home?" I challenged.
"Yes." He answered simply as he pulled me to my feet.
"Can you tell me why you're pissed off with me?" I asked.
"I'll tell you when we get home." He muttered and started walking. I followed him.
"Tell me now! I deserve to know why you're being such a dick."
"Shut up Billie, I'm not in the mood."
"Why? Whats happened?"
"Billie..."
"Wait! Let me guess!" I shouted, Mike groaned loudly. "Your mum and dad shouted at you loads for what we did?" I asked.
"No."
"Oh, ermm..."
"Billie, you won't guess." He sighed.
"Ok, so tell me then"
"Its about you and me." He paused
"Go on."
"Nothing's going to happen is it?" He muttered. It felt like he had punched me in the stomach.
"Why not?" I asked.
"Because I just saw the way you were after he told you to go away."
"But it wasn't because of Tre. It was because of you!"
"Why me?" He asked.
"Because i was thinking to myself how much I ..." I couldn't say it.
"What?"
"I was thinking to myself how much I love you." I said, looking away from him.
"Really?" He sounded suprised.
"Yes, and then I was thinking how I should tell Tre."
"Tell Tre what?"
"That it wasn't working out. And that I wanted to be with you."
"Are you being serious Billie?" He turned me round and looked at me.
"Yes. I've never been more serious about anything in my life."
