"What do you mean, my sister is resting in a bed in the same room as Pete?" I said as Sisky came into Pete's room and started explaining what my sister was doing. Pete was still out of it but he seemed to be healing up nicely.
"Calm down, Elissa. She is sleeping right now and I gave her some orange juice. Amanda forced and unconcious Martin to bite her because he wasn't responding to anything." Sisky explained.
"She did what?" I said almost yelling.
"Ahem!" Andy said.
"What!" Sisky and I both snapped.
"Elissa, Amanda really loves Martin and it would crush her if she lost him. She felt that she had to do what she had to do. Admit it, if you were still human, you would do the same thing for Pete." Andy finished.
"That's different. I don't like Martin." I said.
"You are only jealous because he rejected you!" Erelin snapped. "Honestly, are we still playing this game? I thought high school was over." Erelin said walking out of the room.
"She's right, Elissa. I accepted it. Amanda is happy with Martin. End of story. You are supposed to be happy with Pete or do you want to go back in that waiting room and get together with Micah?" Sisky said throwing him in my face.
"I am telling you, there is something up with him and I want to find out!" I said.
"Guys, what are we arguing about now and can I get the number of the train that decided to run me down?" Pete mumbled as he woke up.
"Pete! Pete, you are awake!" I said grabbing him and kissing him.
"Ah! Easy, that hurts still." Pete said as I let go of his shoulder. I was putting pressure on it and didn't mean to.
"I'm so sorry!" I said.
"It's ok." He said grimacing. "How did I end up here?" Pete asked.
I let Sisky feel him in. I didn't have the heart to tell him that he no longer has a home. Everyone needed a place to stay which leads me to my sister. I could let half stay if she could temporarily let the other half of our friends stay with her.
"So, I am trapped here until nightfall, eh?" Pete said letting everything sink in.
"Yes. Thank you for helping to get my sister out safely." I said.
"I had help with Nonnie. You are the one I should be thanking though. I might not be here right now if you hadn't came back and saved me." Pete said kissing me as I was sitting on the bed next to him.
"Babe, I love you and all, but I need to attend to my sister now that you are awake. Martin was hurt badly too. Ian attacked him and Amanda. She came to and they went back to your place. Martiin ordered her to run and not come back and he took a beating from Ian trying to save some innocent people.
He wasn't responding to treatments so she made him bite her while he was still unconcious. She is now laying in a bed in Martin's room and I am worried about her." I said.
"Yeah, you should check on them, babe." Pete smiled.
"Love you." I said kissing him and leaving him to talk to Sisky, Brendon, Andy and Chrissy.
He was always so understanding. I just feel bad that he lost his home. That was Pete's safe haven.
I had alot on my mind as I wandered down to where Amanda and Martin were. I was trying to strategize a plan on how to kill Ian while I was worried and thinking of Amanda. I wanted to protect her and everyone else from Ian. My friends are my family now, and I will not let Ian come after them to get to me.
