(Amanda’s POV)
“So you having been sneaking around for two months with Brendon and not telling me?” I asked scaring Erelin as I snuck up on her and Brendon.
“Wait, where did you come from?” Brendon asked confused.
“Duh, the apartment.” I said rolling my eyes.
“I didn’t feel you. I mean I only felt Erelin here as the slayer.” Brendon replied as I shrugged my shoulders at him.
“I don’t know, maybe your radar is off or only has eyes for Erelin.” I said laughing.
“How did you find me?” Erelin asked.
“Well, I woke up on the couch, walked past your room, noticed your bedroom door was open and then saw your window, so yeah that about sums it up.” I said.
“I’m sorry for lying and not telling you about Brendon. It is the only way we can see each other is out here.” Erelin asked.
“Well, next time Brendon, come on in the apartment.” I said starting to shiver from the cold. It was not cold, just chilly. Sometimes it stays warm here in sunny L.A., other times it can get down to the 50’s at night.
“Brendon we should probably go inside.” Erelin said as Brendon kissed her.
“Actually, I had better go back before Beckett throws a fit. He has been acting strange lately and I don’t know why.” Brendon replied.
“I do. Has Beckett threatened you in the last few days and told you to kidnap Erelin?” I asked.
“Brendon is this true?” Erelin asked.
“What, no?” Brendon replied shocked that I had asked him that.
“He will be.” I said.
“And just how do you know this?” Erelin snapped at me.
“Relax, Erelin. I saw it in a dream. You know I have been connected, with Beckett somehow. I didn’t say that Brendon was even going to do it.” I said having to defend myself.
“What do you know?” Brendon asked.
“Last night I saw in a dream Beckett tell you to bring in Erelin. He wants her alive so he can extract information out of her. He is working for Ian now who is after Elissa. You do remember Erelin telling you about Ian, right?” I asked.
“Yes but how did Beckett start working for him? Beckett’s whole mission is to be the boss.” Brendon said sitting down in a chair.
“Elissa and I have been having dreams of Ian. We knew it would be a matter if time before he would show up here in L.A. Well, anyway, Ian is top dog. He has been a vampire longer then when we were born. He finally arrived here and Sisky and I witnessed a meeting between Ian and Beckett.
I had never seen Beckett afraid of anything. Ian told Beckett that he wanted Elissa and to find her or he would kill him. In my dream, he threatens to kill you if you do not hand over Erelin. Beckett thinks Erelin can lead him to Elissa.” I explained.
“That’s not going to happen, over my dead body.” He said slamming his fist down on the chair.
“Brendon, I don’t want you to die because of me.” Erelin said.
“Oh, don’t worry, I won’t. I am not going anywhere and he is not getting you.” Brendon said hugging Erelin.
“What can we do?” Erelin asked looking at me.
“I don’t know yet. I will think of something and let you know later on tonight, Brendon. It I almost four now, you better get back.” I said.
“Erelin, everything is going to be fine.” I said reassuring her.
I left them two alone to say their goodbyes and Erelin soon joined me back inside the apartment. I put on my pajamas and hopped into my bed. Maybe I can catch a few decent hours of sleep and in the morning when I am refreshed I will think of something for Erelin and Brendon.
