Love

I could not believe I was here; I had been waiting for a moment like this for most of my life. The moment was perfect. The grass shone green in the summer sun. The blossom falling off the trees was tinted orange. Beside me was the most beautiful person I had ever seen.
Boyfriends in my life have been and gone, but it wasn’t until a few months ago that I realised- the boy of my dreams had been with me the whole time. Not as a crush, but as a friend. I turned around to study his face.
His features were practically symmetrical. His lips had the perfect curve. His eyes glistened- greenie blue. His long lashes fluttered in the wind. I stood up, And began to walk towards the canal. I loved it here at the canal, it was only rare when some one passed by. It was my thinking space. I was alone, in the country air. This was the first time I had ever brought anyone here. My heart missed a beat as the feeling of arms being wrapped around my waist startled me. I turned around. Joe was stood there. His black fringe was half across his right eye. He crushed me into his chest. I could feel the heat from his body passing to mine. This was a moment to remember
