Silent Screams

Uhh..

The doorbell rang, cutting my train of thought and making the butterflies come back.
I sat up instantly, and started to panic. I looked all over the place for my
bag. I looked at myself on last time in the mirror then run down the
stairs, almost tripping my way out the door.

"Where the hell do you think you're going?" My father yelled from his spot on
the couch.

I caught my breath and swung open the door, "Out!"
Lake was standing there.

"Hey Chicka!" She smiled.

"Come on, let's go. I don't want to get in trouble yet today." I said grabbing
her arm and pulling her to her car.

Lake slammed her door, and started the car.
I fell into the seat next to her, and shut the door.

"Why are we going to store HE works at? You know how i get whenever I
see him." I said slidding on my sunglasses.

Lake pulled out of my driveway and sighed, "Because Lyric I'm going to
get him to notice you. He's obviously missing out, when he's dating that.. hoe."

That hoe. Yup, his girlfriend at the time, the girl that should've stayed
with him. The girl who should've warned me how he was like.
That hoe was named Kaylee Watts, head cheerleader.
The blondest girl in the whole school, and the one girl with the
biggest fake boobs. She was a stuck up bitch.

"Maybe he's better off her.. I mean he is on the football team. They
at least have SOMETHING in common." I said messing around with
her stearo trying to find the station we always listen to.

"Come on Lyric, stop thinking like that. Look at how he dresses. He's
like one of us. Also with him working at the record store means he
must of some type of love or liking for music."

We speeded down the highway, rocking out to some Attack Attack!
I looked out the window and watched all the buildings and trees pass by us.
Lake was singing along to the music, while I was sitting there wishing
that the butterflies in my stomach would just go away.
