She hadn’t asked for this. Any of this really, not the voices, not the sights and not the looks. She hadn’t asked for any of it, but now she had it, and she couldn’t turn it off. No one could turn this off, no one but the person who gave it to her, and she wasn’t about to ask him to take it away. You don’t ask God those kinds of things, not when he claims it will help hundreds of people. Then you just agree and continue, or so she thought. But now she had a gift that let her see a world she’d rather of left unseen, and it all started one night when she least expected it.
