Hey readers! This is my entry for Ignorance:;'s Jonas/Lovato/Gomez/Cyrus song-fic contest. The song that I chose is Magic by Selena Gomez.
Story:
Kate never thought that Brian would love her. Not in a million years. Not after all they had been through - all the hurt she'd caused him. It just didn't seem possible. But when a mysterious package arrives in the mail from Brian, Kate is shocked to discover that he could still love her...even when he's on the other side of the world.
Doubtful as always, Kate doesn't open the package. It stays under her bed for an entire month. And when news of a tragedy involving Brian reaches Kate, she wonders why he even matters to her anymore. Why does she feel pain for him when she had told him she didn't want him anymore?
But when news of Brian's poor state of health comes to Kate, she wonders if maybe, just maybe, she could open up both her heart and Brian's present. And suddenly, things are turning out much better than before. Almost like magic...
