I just hope Alice forgives me for stealing a kiss from her.

I sigh and gently close my locker.
Suddenly, pictures of Mr. X and Leanne flash into my mind.
I scowl and replace Nathaniel and Alice instead.

Seth, you're a student now.
Act like one.
Forget about being the most famous actor and the projects shit.
Live a life of a normal 17-year old high school boy.

I abruptly stop short and gather my thoughts together.

Holy crap.
I'm entering college already!

I wrinkle my eyebrows.

Ew.
I feel so old now.

I shrug my shoulders.

Whatever.
At least I'm with Alice.

I slap my forehead.

Alice, Alice, Alice!
Give it up, Seth!
She hates you, and there's no point in trying to chase after her.

I pass a hand over my face and head to the school doors.

Ugh.
Stupid fangirls.
Damn them to hell.

As I open the doors, a hella lot of reporters and interviewers jab my chest with their microphones.

"Seth, why did you plan to study here in this school?"
"Why did you stop acting, Seth?"
"Are you going back to the showbiz industry?"
"...and here's Seth Paver, live in West Salmon University..."

I sigh heavily while students and teachers start crowding behind me.
I scan the place for Nathaniel but he is nowhere to be found.
I narrow my eyes and quickly reach for my cellphone.
I dial Nathaniel's number when the crowd immediately falls silent.

Tch.
Eavesdroppers.

"Seth? Are you out already?"
"Yes, I am. Better hurry up, because things are getting awry again."

He pauses for a few seconds when I hear him snap his fingers in the other end, making me smile.

"I'm on my way."

I end the conversation and shove my phone back in my pocket.
Everyone is staring me, waiting for me to say something.
Then they start flooding questions at me again, making me stumble back.
And then - thank the Lord - Nathaniel finally arrives.
They all stop talking and look back to see who it is.
I grin as Nathaniel walks out of the car.
The people silently make way for my bodyguard.

Oohh.
So they're still scared of Nathan, huh?

He slowly approaches me and smiles.

"Did I arrive on time?"
"Exactly on time."

He nods and faces the media.
He slowly raises his right hand.
The reporters widen their eyes in horror while the interviewers cower in fear.

"Are you going to leave Seth alone or what?"

Nathaniel smirks and moves his fingers smoothly.

"N-No! W-We'll leave right now!"

They all rush back to their own vans and drive away.

"That takes care of it..."
"Thanks, Nathan."

I pat him on the back when he turns his face away.

"No problem, Seth. Just doing my job."
"They're still traumatized at your magic, aren't they?"
"Yup. If I'm not mistaken, their equipment is new and updated. Seems like they don't want me to destroy them just yet."

I chuckle.

"I see."

I turn around to face my fellow school friends.

"I'm sorry for the trouble, it won't happen again."

Ms. Mary walks over to me.

"Not unless you bring your handsome bodyguard with you, young man."

I laugh but immediately close my mouth.

"Are you saying... you're allowing me to bring Nathaniel to school?"

She crosses her arms over her chest.

"That's right. I don't want this to happen again, especially not in this school. You got that?"

I nod in agreement.

"Sure, Ms. Mary. Thanks a lot."

I grin happily and face Nathan.

"Awesome! You'll get to see my classroom and stuff!"

He smiles.

"Cool. Sounds like fun."

I catch a glimpse of Alice who was studying Nathaniel weirdly.
I quickly look at Nathan to see Ms. Mary clinging on him.

"You, Mr. Nathaniel, how... old are you?"
"Err, why are you asking, ma'am?"
"I don't know. I think... I think I find you interesting."
"Eh?!"
