We all frown in disbelief when Renn turns the television off.
"Daniel, Daniel, Daniel! Who the hell is he anyway? I mean, how in the world did he become popular all of a sudden? I've never even heard of him before."
I nod my head approvingly.
"True. I don't even know him either. How about you, Aiden?"
He shakes his head.
"Nope, nuh-uh."
I turn to face Seth.
He sighs and starts explaining.
"Daniel Fortworth... he's an annoying bastard who interrupts my work, barges into my office without knocking and speaks to me rudely. It's a really complicated story."
"Yes. And I used to be the one to kick his ass."
Nathaniel and Seth both laugh.
"Totally. I remember that all too clearly."
Renn rubs her chin in thought.
"Since he's now more famous than you, why don't you return to your acting? I mean, you have to gain back your followers, win against him."
"But I can't bear to leave you guys. And I'm still studying, you know."
I scowl defiantly.
"Does Daniel really have to do this to you? If you get into showbiz again, I'm going to miss you..."
I could feel the tears rise to my eyes.
"Hey,hey, Alice, it's okay, I won't go back, alright? I'll stay with you."
I catch a glimpse of Nathaniel who frowns.
"But Seth, you can't let your studies drag your career down. Let's face it, you didn't even want to study at first. And now you are, because of Alice, isn't it? No offense here, but don't you want Seth to get his popularity rising again? He'll return to you by then anyway."
I look down and blush.
"But..."
Seth kisses my forehead and strokes my hair lovingly.
"Silly, Nathan's right. I really have to get back to work, because if I won't, my parents will kill me. And I promise I'll come back soon. Okay?"
I hug him tight.
"Promise me! I'll be waiting for you."
I close my eyes, fighting back the tears.
"I promise, love."
He pulls away and smiles reassuringly.
"You aren't allergic to the TV anymore, right?"
Renn arches her eyebrows at me.
I let out a laugh.
"Well... I guess so."
Seth looks at Nathaniel.
"Let's go."
I grasp Seth's hand lightly.
"Take care."
He leans down to kiss me softly on the lips, making me melt inside.
"You too," he whispers in my ear, making me turn red.
I quickly hide my face, causing them to laugh.
"Oh, you little flirt!"
Renn musses my hair.
Aiden smiles at me sweetly and shrugs.
"I think you and Seth are really meant for one another."
Seth smirks as Nathaniel opens the door for him.
"Catch me on TV, guys!"
