I Want You

“So what shop do you want to go in first?”
“I don’t really mind, I want food though I’m pretty hungry, I didn’t have any breakfast” I was walking down the street, Frankie’s hand in mine
“Oh, why not?”
“I dunno, I wasn’t really hungry, cause of stuff happening at home and shit”
“What happened at home?” I looked down at him to find him staring off into the distance “Frankie?”
“N-nothing, nothing is happening at home, everything’s fine there” I didn’t believe him, but I didn’t want to push him into tell me. I let go of his hand and wrapped in around his shoulder, bringing him closer to me, he wound his arm around my back so it rested on my opposite hip. He began to rub my shirt, his hand slipped underneath my shirt and his fingers danced over my skin, I made a small moaning sound, I think he took it the wrong way because he took back his hands and stuck them in his pocket
“Sorry, I didn’t mean that, sorry”
“Hey, don’t be shy” I looked around to check if anyone was looking, which they weren’t so I quickly bent down and kissed the corner of his mouth, I leant back up to find him blushing.
“Sorry, um” He blushed even harder when he looked up at me
“Stop being so cute Frankie”
“Hah I’m not cute, I’m short and not pretty”
“You are pretty”
“Prove it then” I pulled his right hand out of his pocket and held it, I bought it up to my mouth and kissed it
“I’ll show you one day, just how pretty you are”

“Sorry, I didn’t mean that to sound so creepy” He squeezed my hand and smiled up at me
“That’s okay” We reached a shop and I looked it and smiled
“Hey Frankie, you want ice cream?”
“Um, okay, yeah” I pulled him into the shop and went straight up to the counter
“Hi, can I help?” The guy behind the counter looked at us holding hands and made a face, I frowned at him
“You got a problem mate?” I stood up tall, broadening my shoulders, trying to look fierce
“N- yeah actually, I do, two men that are standing in front of me are holding hands”
“Yes, and your point being is?”
“It’s disgusting” I felt Frankie tense beside me, I rubbed his skin soothingly
“Well, you just lost customers” I tugged at Frankie and started to walk out of the shop, then I felt someone’s hand on my shoulder, I tensed and swung around, a woman was standing there, her arm outstretched.
“Hi, I heard what my cashier said to you, I’m really sorry about that”
“Huh?”
“He said those things to you guys” I nodded, Frankie hid behind me, still holding on tightly to my hand “I want to apologise for him, he rude, I’ll let you have something on the house”
“Huh?” I still couldn’t believe what she just said “Wait what? Huh? You don’t mind us? I mean like being men and all” She laughed
“No, my brother has a boyfriend, so I have absolutely no problem with you guys”
“Oh wow, thanks” She pulled at my arm, making me follow her to a table at the back of the shop, me and Frankie sat down opposite each other
“So what do you want?”
“Um, I don’t mind really, surprise us” She beamed at us and ran away, I looked up at Frankie
“Well that was weird”
“I didn’t like that man, he scared me”
“Aw, hey don’t worry he can’t hurt you”
“But” I leant forward and placed my hand on top of his
“Nothing he can say can bring you down, understand?” He nodded
“Thanks Gee” I looked into his eyes, from a distance they were just the normal brown hazel colour, I leant closer to his face
“You have beautiful eyes” Dark hazelnut with flicks of lighter chestnut surrounding the pupil, green was hinted in the middle. They were mesmerising to look at
“Um, uh, Gerard?” I leant back and smiled at him, he was majorly blushing, they lady came back to us and placed waffles with ice cream on top of them
“Oh wow thanks”
“This is free, to pay for what that guy said to you”
“Thanks” She walked away but then swung around suddenly
“You two look absolutely adorable by the way” Then she ran off behind the counter and into a room. Frankie sunk low into his chair, I held on tighter o his hands
“See, she said you were adorable” He mumbled something, but I didn’t catch it “Huh?”
“I said, that, you are adorable” I blushed and grinned at him
“Thanks Frankie, I want to eat my waffles now” I let go of his hands and picked up a fork
“Hm, okay” I started to eat mine, then noticed that he wasn’t eating his
“You aren’t eating?”
“I’m, I’m not that hungry”
“You just said that you were a minute ago?” He twiddled his thumbs together
“I don’t, um, like people watching me eat, it sounds stupid I know it’s just th-”
“Hey, don’t worry, I’ll be looking at my plate, so you can eat, ignore the rest of the people in the shop, no one is looking at you” He smiled slightly and picked up a fork
“Thanks Gee” I looked down at my plate and slowly ate the rest of my food. I looked up slightly occasionally, to see how he was eating, he was a cute eater to be honest, he pouted his lips slightly as he ate. He saw me looking through my hair
“Gee! You said you wouldn’t look” He looked angry
“S-sorry Frankie, don’t be mad, please” He folded his arms
“I thought I could trust you” He looked down into his lap. I want you Frankie
“Frankie?” He wouldn’t look up “Come on man, it’s not that bad is it?”
“I just don’t like being watched okay? Is that so fucking hard to understand!”
“Hey whoa Frankie calm down” He looked up at me “What’s going on?” He stood up
“Nothing” He threw his words at me and walked out the shop, I sat there dazed for a moment, what happened to my cute fluffy Frankie? I got up and walked quickly after him
“Frankie?” He turned around
“Your just like everybody else, I can’t trust anyone anymore” He crossed the road and I followed
“What the hell are you on about?”
“Nothing” He sighed but carried on walking. I grabbed his hand and pulled him back to me, I securely wrapped my arms around his back so he couldn’t escape. I rested my head on his shoulder, breathing in his scent
“Come on Frankie, what’s up? You can trust me, can’t you?”
“I don’t know can I?” I just stood there, with my arms wrapped around him
“Frankie, I’m your boyfriend” He tensed at those words, then I felt his small arms wind their way around my chest
“Hell I’m sorry Gee, I dunno what happened, I just, bam! And I’m angry, I don’t like it”
“Tell me what’s up, is it something at home?” He shook his head then leant in on my shoulder
“I’ll tell you about it maybe someday”
“Someday sounds far off in the future”
“Well, if we’re still together in a week, I can tell you”
“Oh, you don’t sound hopeful about that”
“No, no it’s just that, no nothing don’t worry, can we lie down on the grass?”
“Of course” He didn’t attempt to move “Um”
“But you’re comfy” I pushed him away and turned my back toward him, I crouched down a bit and held my arms out
“Piggy back?”
“I was wondering what the hell you were doing then” He giggled then jumped onto my back. I wrapped my hands underneath his thighs to keep him in place, he wrapped his legs so his feet were slightly brushing my crotch. Calm, think calm thoughts.
